Thanks Raymond, question is, how do you see the PA, is there an indi or is it simply volume?

You are making this way too complicated! Maybe you should consider buying a little forex education and find a mentor?

When the price of the currency pair moves up on down or your charts - THAT is the price action! The bars or candlesticks change size - length - THAT is the price action! I think the trees are getting in the way for it seems you may be unable to see the forest. I'm amazed that you have not heard of this term before... You must be VERY new to forex!

Maybe some one else can explain it a bit better than I. I'm tired and I certainly would not wish to offend you.

It is nearly 11:30pm PDT here on the west coast and she is likely sleeping at this hour.

So that you will not have to wait awhile for her answer, I'll take the liberty (and trust in her forgiveness) of saying that PA is simply "price action."

I believe price did indeed fall below her indicated support level, and she will likely wake up Friday morning to find that she entered another profitable trade!

Blessings,
Raymond

Like lawgirl, I manually entered short at 1.5564 with a profit target of 50 pips at $3 per pip. Easy money! And - five more trades this week without a loss!

Forex! Ain't it great!

Dambuster,
It's a white line ( usually) on the chart that moves up and down all the time and that movement is called Price Action. It's the price of the pair at the time. Look at the #'s on the right of the chart for the price.
The white line shows the action of the price.

Can I suggest that the James 16 thread would be a great place to start for Price action and an understanding of it.

I recommend that thread too. I started with www.babypips.com which is where I tell people to start, if from the very beginning.

Hello Dprof
for me I needed to see todays move before committing to shorts, nice to see support blown away, now for 1.52 in my humble opinion, it may take a while to get there.

I trust that you are NOT among that 95%?

It IS as easy as the complete removal of ALL fear and greed from one's consciousness and remaining completely indifferent to the outcome of EVERY trade.

Accomplishing this is the process of mature self-growth - there is, or at least should be, a spiritual aspect to profitable forex trading.

It is possible to trade intuitively with very few, if any, losses following guidance from inner levels of consciousness, which everyone has access to.

So I believe...

What about long flat line on the scale from 0 to about 72 ?

This probably means that for like 8 years there was no profit and then,

suddenly, it start working.. Let me tell you, nobody guarantee that

this concept will work forever, we can only hope it will..

Keep in mind that backtesting it's pretty much like having a sex with

inflatable doll, not much to do with reality.. I still think with 140 pips

stop loss, if we take appositive trades: instead of SELL, take a BUY,

we could probably have even better results, cause in 90% cases,

Price Action goes against every trade we take.. How about that?

Anyone test that yet?

Skyz, 4 years just only get small profit (arround 500-10k) n still have some loss trade, that;s why my system still not perfectly yet but since 2004 that show very high increasing profit.
---
actually i was do Tokyo EA test for 10 years, n i found something interesting me, the point is market every years or some period will change, n that;s will make right system unworking, this research still on my waiting list to catch that period change n range setting move.
