I completely agree anything can happen in forex.

Trading after a long vacation, where did that guy Skyzer go? I thot he must would be shouting from rooftops by now.

Been FX trading since 2004. Gotta say I have never seen the EURUSD this undecided and with this big of a range. Basically been in a very volatile 150 pip range all week.

You must to thanks to Euro that which thing you didnt see.. you see it in this week... actually brother from last 3 years we see the special things happened in the forex market which we never see before..

Well pretty choppy indeed. I have been slaughtered before in this type of range. no magic clue. basically when you are about to quit and once all your s l get trigered, the market decides and you could have made 300 pips

Perhaps you should change your timeframe and MM

I recommend 5 seconds and a lot of screentime

I use 5 seconds and 4 EMA's : 10, 21, 50, 150

no need for indicators - only price action

grabbing 2-5 Pips per trade - risking 3-6 Pips per Trade - Hardstop 10 Pips

The Big advantage:

You are only in for seconds - sometimes minutes -in this shark pond.

where do you get the 5 second charts? seems interesting...but are you trading for mini pips?

I agree with andry range weeks are hard work . I have been on gu all week buying 1.5550 , selling 1.5650. It has been an ok week but feel like i have been 5 rounds with Mike Tyson , no sleep etc etc

any way here is what i see on 4 hour eu

doji , inverted hammer ... dogs breakfast BUT rsi and hulls turned down , I guess next London session will see if test 1.2750 or not

I use Ninja Trader with Interactive Broker account for charting and datafeed.

I trade with RBS Marketindex -similar and licensed by OANDA.

They show 1/10th of a PIP / 1 Pip spread on E/U

think about 5 seconds ....

type LOL .. it takes about 2.5 sec

There is no way anyone other than an hft programme can trade a 5 sec chart , get in and out in and hold for a few seconds ....unless they are trading in the direction of the session trend,

What is session trend ?

EU has an average 21 day range perior , right now it is 140 pip . So the likely hood of it moving 100 pip every day is VERY HIGH . Now we have to work out which way that is . This is where vsa and a 15 min chart come in to play

this 15 min thru asia showed ALL the dips being bought very clearly. so no guesses as to direction of eu in london ..... no need for a 5 sec or even 1 min chart for that matter ....

every day set ups like this appear and are fairly easy to trade... if you have time that is. Time is a thing i never have enough of ..do not want to be fixed to the screen . SO i choose to trade london / us overlap ...

top of this chart at 2900 shows the seller hitting market .. nice 100 pip trade for 25 pip stop . Then at 1.2800 we see buyers for now.

In asia london I will be looking for hulls to turn down on a 15 min , with some sign , form a vsa perspective of sellers entering the market.

If you want to trade small time frames trade tick charts .. they are way better . Like a 144 tick is popular among futures traders

my trader which is a pretty good one may take up to 30 seconds to close a trade. so trading on 5 seconds is pretty science fiction for me
