Do have a question though. I was looking at the history of trades and noticed that the start hour we use indicates a 10 pip movement if the next hour touches the high or low of the start hour.

Wondered if anyone else had noticed this and if it might be worth looking at.

I have trades open on fxdd , and alpari , but IBFX settings are wrong, gmt was set to 0, what settings are you using for the 72 pips, 3x 24pips?

Dude, if you going to have TP's like 22/25/30 you could have

72 pips profit, but again - this cannot be optimize for every single day

so? On yearly average default settings looks good..

P.S

I just closed my trades manually: 72 pips in already and I'm not that greedy..

Sure it could go further down..

FXDD GMT = +3; I have TP at +22, +24, and +26. If first TP hits, then the likelihood is that all three will hit..at least that has been the case so far..especially as the trend gets stronger.

Well TP1 hit, TP2 hit. Currently flirting with TP3 S/L.

I am set at 22, 32 and 76 from the back testing that I did. Doesn't hit the TP3 very often but then again with the trailing set and the move of TP3 to +12 profit it doesn't have to.


Geoff can you possibly send me the book on programming the MT4 EA's, I have experience with Fortran, Visual C+, and a couple of other machine languages.

Yes, IBFX is GMT, so There is 0 offset..

EA does triggers from broker to broker differently,

be patient..

awww Skyz - who is greedy. I want 20 pips per day or about 100 pips per week and I am ecstatic. If I happen to snatch more than that on average then mama gets a new car in a year or so. Also I believe in backtesting and while on any given day I hit the 22, 32 levels the big level is set to grab a great day for me and is play money in my mind.

Relax, bro, just kidding.. It's all good.. Today is a holiday,

probably ones in 10-20 trading days when PA goes straight

in direction of the trade and we don't even have to wait 8 hours..

Today was first day to put on 17a and i put it on 2 new brokers also.
they both tried to fire and I got big red error across top on both.
errors were trying to place invalid stop price. Basically invalid stops.

iam wondering if this is something to do with the ecn setting which i had to false. they both (iamfx and the collective ) are stp brokers. anyone?

Also, both are gmt +1, Tokyo line started on chart at 0000. this corresponded to 6 eastern. Is that right? I had traded on other broker so long I never really looked at it.
