Israel is gonna attack Iran the big money has left Israel. What are the Shekel crosses? If my voodoo is on target I hope to TP at 2718 and buy there for a trip back up to 2818 and selling there tomorrow.

We just put in a lower high and we have still been getting lower lows on the hourly. Although I also wouldnt be surprised to see a bounce to 1.30. I do expect the EUR/USD to fall below 1.27 by the end of the week though.

yep... exactly... imperialism that built most of these European strong currencies is gone. it took 100 years for the u.s. to get reserve status.. ask the pound. all the stuff you mention is useless w/o commodities. take commodities away and you have nothing. its cheaper to build something where the raw product comes out the ground then ship it twice. Just ask ole Henry or Carnegie or JD rock--- some of the richest guys who ever lived.

Yes today is confirmed intraday LL and LH in my chart too. It couldn't make the higher lows I was expecting the whole day leaving the door wide open for a deeper push down so I am tightening my stops in the longs....they will be easily hit if the 1st hours after the close don't make a quick "untradable" HL... We'll see

Sadly the "real" economy (production, industries) is a thing of the past ... the present and future is services and highly specialize, globally interconnected industries. 70% of GDP of US, Europe and Japan comes from there not from the nice idealistic old chain of production ... In that stages are countries like China, India, Brazil and others and they are trying to move fast to services too so they are not get stuck as second class countries ...

I think it will better to ask Larry Page (google) Mark Zuckerberg (facebook) or even in China to William Ding (online games) instead of the failed CEO of GM. .

In any case, let's see how this German numbers comes in the morning ...

why would i read others trying to make then think like them? usually trying to sell me something. all strong nations in the past had commodities.. i said all w/o exception. either in their own land or claimed lands. It was true in Roman times as well as today. I am more of a free thought person. I question things that don't make sense. Saying something or repeating something from a guru does not make it true. It just means i am a sheep. w/o industrial production, that other service industry is bs. Would you like to super-size your order?

Look, I still...
I don't know how to do the mulit quotes...the ford cars may have been crap but they were the first to do it mass produced on an assembly line etc..it created millions of jobs for people working at companies that were privately owned. manufacturing...

by the way, the German cars...here in America anyway are a pain in the butt to work on...maybe more reliable but far more expensive to fix. I like the looks and all but i see the sizzle dying off.


The people of the PIIGS countries the way that I understand it(correct me if I'm wrong seriously) seem to be more interested in getting a job with the government than trying to invent something new or go and start their OWN company/corporation. I don't see much innovation. The pay, retirement, benefits, vacation and all of that has been very good for some time so why wouldn't they?
Now, all of the sudden the stuff is being taken away and they're all (the young people) expected to go out and find other jobs that are coming from where?

America did lose tons of manufacturing to Asia but we gave it to them..most of it. We call it "free trade" but we know that it's not.
We could still just pull ships out of places and bring men home but don't to protect "free trade".
This is why it doesn't matter if we lose as much in the way of manufacturing i guess.

I don't understand this all fully yet myself. just giving my .02

I respect your neo-realist point of view but I disagree in the core of the argument. Neglecting economic innovation as a key core factor in the modern world and putting old hard industries and commodities are way too static from my point view.

Economic issues are a complex network of dynamic interrelation that keep societies moving forward. Innovation had, is and will be the key to stay on the top and not keeping low uncompetitive industries because the status quo or tradition tell us to keep them alive... Change, adapt or die.

In any case this is getting too academic. Lets agree to disagree in that part.

zuckerberg had like 800 million in revenue last year and 10-20 million in profits..facebooks got a long way to go. he's doing the right thing in holding off the IPO imo

i never said said these countries would not adapt. the ones with stable countries will adapt. and industry and banking will follow as it always has other then unstable governments and colony's. commodity's just makes it easier to do. and as they do it weakens the ones w/o them.. we are much closer to this then many think. if you have to buy your materials from Australia. you have sell your product equal to them to compete. or you go out of business. The same with labor cost verses Asia.

Yes he is playing the google game but it can overcook the deal and not get what he wants. In any case, at only 23 with a Net Worth of $1.5 Billions I don't think it matters to him.

hey man, you've and we've talked about the china bubble...would they not be able to just keep building and building though more or less to keep theirselves out of major problems?
i mean with the reserves built up, they should be able to create enough jobs to keep the people working and buying their new cell phones, etc right? from your perspective i mean
