If you look at Weekly chart and look for horizontal s/r you might see sumthing intresting!

Just from watching charts mostly. But when people leave stocks they go to cash meaning dollar stronger,yen stronger,swiss stronger. Risk coming off
AU and AJ is same way the aussie prs follow dow/sp as well.

this doesn't sound good for any longs. But on a weekly/monthly chart a daily close above 114 is needed to go higher. IMOP we moved back to the low side I see a possible retrace to 111-112 then down to new lows. On the weekly there is clear 3 waves down with 5th to go. Just need some good PA to tell us

Also Daily and H4 has made a new swing low.

I can see that scenario playing out but the last 14 hours of pa where we have consolidation and then a jump up looks to me like more than a retrace.

Also the risk trade has been driving everything lately so all the pairs are moving up and down together a bit right now and I think there has been a lot of risk priced in over the last months and even though things aren't great there is just so much risk aversion that can happen without more news.

EJ need big SL of 100+ pips normally.
The tight SL depends on your setup.
If you are lucky to get a top or bottom, you only need some 10-15 pips SL..
One of my friend trades EJ with around 150-180 pips Sl. He also tragets 150-200 pips on his trades.

On previous short I lost 45 pips..
Current trade have 80 pips SL..

Im still a newbie but one of the best advises I have been told is to manage your SL with your MM (money management).

make sure your reward/risk ratio (3-1 is great) is good and if you need a bigger SL just use a slightly smaller lot.. I dont have big cash to play around with, yet so I tend to use only 50 cents a pip or if feeling balsy a dollar LOL

but abide by those and you'll do well

This was the reason of my question, for me a tight SL was around 20-30 pips and a normal sl 40-60.

My targets I try to get were 50-60-80 pips.

I'll think on it.
