I am trading the Tokyo v16 with the conservative inputs.
Didn't have any loosers.

TP1 10, TP2 22, TP3 80, trail stop 10, SL 140
Broker : ActivTrades

Here you go. And I (and apparently some others) are still using V9 live. FOr me it was never 'broke' so why change?

I am also in the same boat. V16 never worked for me and version 9 never let me down. i got only one bite...

ATC closed out on SL all five positions for live, -$700 loss, wiping out all prior gains for the past two months. Think it's time to try and select another EA. This system is superior when trades are winning but you never know when one of these negative biggies will strike and damage an account. Prior to this I had 32 winning trades. Will replenish the account and go fishing again; somewhere there is a winning EA!

v16 3 longs stopped out @1.58333 & 1.58328..

I think should be careful about entries on other brokers because this EA is made and tested on Alpari UK (please correct me if I'm wrong), so if Alpari no entry, i think we really shouldn't entry on other brokers.
For example, this time my broker entry but Alpari Demo no entry, so it is not really fault of EA, but a question why my broker entried.

SL hit, my account got destroyed.
EUR25,500, nearly 80% of my saving.
Poor money management, good for learning...

I lost $1400 on GU long, but took short trade which is up $840, also went short EU at same time, so my loss was counteracted and I actually made money...this kind of trading day calls for fancy tap dancing....no passive trading on days like today.

That is the challenge w/ EA's like this. If you use a trailing stop, the risk/reward is out of whack. Making 20 pips for a 140 pip stop will bite you no matter what. There is no magic 'always' and conditions could/will change to the point where you could have 5 losing days in a row. If you use it like GEOFF, then it is much better R/R.

EA's don't really work 100% by themselves. They need a driver who knows how to trade or at least screw them up enough so they can't trade.

If I were you, I would spend my time learning to trade (or better), then use the EA's as assistance. I use a few EA's, and it is more of a hobby for me as I don't believe they will ever work to a point where we will all make a living off of them.

I closed out my 3 positions at +10, +10, and -17 (when I woke up). The GBPUSD had a lot of divergence and it was needing a retracement badly, so any long's in my opinion were high risk as it kept testing 1.6 over and over but not breaking through.

(sorry to be so 'negative', but I don't like seeing people 'bet the farm' without understanding the possibilities)

I have been running this EA on Alpari UK live since the end of April and there have been the following monthly SL's:

May 4th
June 29th
July 16th
August 9th

For me, the EA with its huge SL being hit monthly is no longer viable from an RR perspective

Pity, because it showed such promise

Sooo, another big hit which wiped out all the profit made so far. I'm glad I didn't put money on it that I really needed, though that's Forex and is part of the game...

Hi, Flamenco! I'm using IBFX & V9 too but no trade since last week, i'm from GMT +8 Malaysia, should set my GMT offset to 0 and start time set to 0 also? Thanks.
