v9 has been remarkably stable and there is no reason to change if it works with your broker
but Tokyo v16 should be very much the same as the trading algorithm has not been changed.

The "timed exit" for v17 is the first change that will effect how the EA trades!

Thanks Geoff.

I'll keep running EA v9 live. Got the two trade active again tonight at 1.5974 entry. I'll load v17 in my demo and optimize and let her run for a while before going live.

Thanks for the great work.

Rando

Sorry..

When I see the EA open close to historical resistance...1.59ish to 1.60 ish I always put a tight trailing stop when she starts to break up....so i moved it from 20/15 pips to 10 right across the board as I had manual longs from 1.59563 as well....I saw the Doji on the 15 min...and moved everything up...

I had been waiting for it to close the gap all day...and now its doing it....

Iam with Alpari UK..

Hi,

In the preset files I noticed for Alpari UK GMT is +2. This is +2 in summer time, and +1 in winter, does it calculate in winter ?

Any updates if v17 is available for testing ?

Which preset file and risk are you using PPL ?

BR,
Glenn

Hi
I have used ver16, 2 order set file, on my live IBFX account. It has worked perfect.
Yesterday I added one more EA ver 16 with 1 order set file on another 1 hour GU chart. Different magic number.
No trades tonight.
Is it possible to use this EA with 2 different settings on different charts on the same account?

If you have an iPod Touch, iPhone or iPad you can carry Tokyo around the house/office/park in your pocket rather than remaining permanently glued to your computer screens as Tokyo does its thing ...

I have setup the Real VNC viewer app on my iPod Touch and have a Real VNC server running on my PC. This allows me to view and control my PC from my iPod anywhere in the house or even from my bed (I'm in the UK so Tokyo does its thing while I'm supposed to be sleeping - sad I know).

Boy this thing's gone to my head ...

I use FXCM UK and they have an app for the iTouch which is handy for checking & closing your live trades or checking your balance.

FXDD v16 x1 long and holding on.
We could bounce around in this narrow range for quite some time...
