I still battle against the demons as well. Make sure that you administer some sort of punishment to yourself. I suggest 1 day on the simulator (paper trade) for each 5% of capital lost.

shitty thing is: i keep doing it! almost weekly. somehow you managed to get it into your subconscious. i still can't.

anyway, i have the rest of my life to learn that... eventually it will come to me!

constant reinforcement of the idea. tell yourself "do not revenge trade, i will lose money. do not over leverage, i will lose money" - that's been helping me slowly stop my bad habits

Dude this is common in this business, i had been in it most of the times,we r humans and we r bound to do mistakes.

Hey dont forget your id (wanna - be - rich) , if you need to get there ,u need to pass this hurdles and i m sure u will one day.

Inshallah(god willingly) we all will be rich one day.

going to stick a piece of paper with tape at the top of the screen saying

TRIX 5M / 0.01x2 / SL fixo

this means wait for at least a 5m trix candle to close the color of the trade i want to enter (it would have save me a whole lot of dough today, not to mention the previous bad days), never more than a micro lot x 2 (one with tp at 40 pips the other to let roll) and never budge the SL (i have to accept losses, they are part of this business)

hope this helps. taking into consideration the time that i spend in front of the screen it it bound to glue in my mind! LOL

Looks like there will be a bounce around 13120 in the short term (15 min charts) which is recent support, I'd expect it to go up to around 13200 over the next few hours

I am still long with drawdown looking for return to pivot at least. interesting day.

Great trading & you got in close to the high between 1.3230 - 1.3235! Everyone must trade their own plan indeed but it is always a pleasure to read other trader's ideas even if they conflict with my outlook.

trying not to over state the obvious...this pa looks like a setup for tomorrow's news. from the left coast here, the overnight action (london) should clear up which way they're loadin the boat. worst case, there should be some decent trade entries (safe entries) early next week if the setup is not clear tomorrow.....

still watchin the 3100 +/- level to see if it will be tested... doesn't haveta happen, but it would clear up my picture a bit.

careful the stress don't cloud your trading though. Yesterday I had 30 standard lots total on 3 trades, as I slapped the market down, all hit TP.

my bigger picture suggests the possibilty of a larger pullback.... which will hopefully be clearer soon.
