Yes, I do sleep. But sometimes I don't close the browser on this thread.

As for what times to trade within the approved span of hours, that is like trying to predict when the moves are going to happen.....a waste of time.
We can only take what the market gives us, when it decides to. The approved span of hours does bracket most SonicR trades, but trying to fine tune within that span is a fools errand, imho.

EJ Short Trade Update:

For hours now, PA has more the look of consolidation, albeit with a drift down, than a definate move down. So this has me thinking that a truely good move down will happen (starting tomorrow?).

The range is only 104 pips down so far today, not much of a move, and taking plenty of time while 'something' is going on. My guess, and that is only what it is, is that professional trading operations are off loading longs and taking on shorts during this consolidation period. Warning: this is highly speculative!

I removed the SL to stay in trade, and have now lowered it. If PA does not hit TPs today, then maybe tomorrow.

Coming to the end of approved trading span.....yet, this may present some sort of long opportunity.

Range today is only 66 pips, about half of the average. PA has bounced off of the half number support twice now. And there is a sort of HL sequence, though not well spaced out in time. PA may drop to form a better "HL". But, as it stands, the reason for the watch on this is due to the fact that sometimes the late US session offers surprise substantial runs.

EJ Watch:

The highlighted half number area was breeched earlier when PA dove to today's lows. But then PA move back up to test, broke up thru to create a "LH" and fell again. The M30 last closed candle high again tested the area from the bottom side. This looks bearish. So, I'd say this is a good one to watch for further downside movement.

Tomorrow there might be a SonicR short trade setup on this one, no matter what happens between now and then. PA this session has created a downward channel. But the asian and early euro session trading tomorrow could pump this in preparation for another move lower. This is one to watch up to tomorrow's London Open to see what happens here.

Looking for pullback below 1.3090 for early entry, based on bounce (twice) off support of half number area.

This cannot be considered a pure SonicR entry, as it is past approved hours for entering a trade, and because of the early entry, if it happens.

It's 4:45 p.m. EST, not Sonic approved trading hours, yet both EU and GU are setting up for a sonic trade. So I placed buy orders in both pairs with a HUGE stopless, because I've witnessed a lot of price fluctuation after hours, and will need lots of room for that to occur.

This is just an experiment for fun. I am trading the mini-est of mini-lots, so if I make some pocket change, all the better. I would say cigarette money, but I quit, so I guess it's candy money (peanut M&Ms).

Don't try this at home.

Nice trades

If you're making pips in one session, why bother to not sleep or anything else ? By the way, which session you can handle ? If it's london session and you're making money out of it, I believe it's okay to stick to that one.

Sometimes TAH scalps sleeping

I took a close look at the EU chart and suddenly the flat line tops of a string of candles stood out!

I think this is called a Table Top, whose significance is that the price drops off the table! If I am not mistaken, one root cause for such PA is that a VERY LARGE sell order exists in the system, and it keeps getting triggered for partial fills each time the price rises to the sell order price. It is called an Iceberg order because we cannot see but a small part of the whole on each trigger event. We can only see 11% of the ice berg above the water, right? And 89% is hidden in the deep blue. So, it takes repetitive triggers before the sell order is completed. Meanwhile, price can't rise beyond the sell order price.

This sort of stuff is not SonicR. And the indication that somone may have a large sell order going does not mean the price won't rise after the complete sell order is filled. But it is sometihing worthy of note.

The volume for this pair has stayed unusually heavy since the start of the trading week. Upper vol indicator is set to period of 768. Price is around a major S/R area going back not only ~1 1/2 yrs (chart 2, weekly) but 15 yrs (chart 3, monthly). Price has yet to make a major move.

Seems noteworthy. Any thoughts?

The inverted Cup and Handle Weekly chart on EJ is still valid and if EJ goes down, so does GJ. And we are talking well over 1,000 pips downwards.

EJ Short Trade Update:

TPs were reset for the new day, and the asian segment trading is driving the price down. I ignored TP1, but if TP2 is reached, I think I will close at least half and see if the euro traders take it back up a notch for a re-entry.

Price did pull back down to activate my long entry. PA basically looks like it is in a consolidation range. But it has just started upwards movement to new highs. This has PA entering the SonicR EP Zone now.

EJ Short Trade Closed:

Closed near 3/4 number when price movement went stagnant, for 84 pips profit. If the euro traders pump it, then maybe I will re-enter short.

Probably the reason of the losses is that the general trend is Long, I went Short. Isn't it?

Pumlitch, if you follow the rules, your SL shouldn't be hit - at least for now
