Yes mate, hedging is a great thing to save ur money if ur on the wrong side of the market, but never hedge more then 20 pips

this is retail only right?? i neve really pay much attention to these figures as the big boys are after our money hence 62% being short could be a reason to go long.

In futures you have and actual centralize market were for example CME can show the real Open interest but in FOrex? and even there is actually impossible to establish what is covering old longs of open new shorts. That information if ever available by the minute will be the Holy Grail.

This is just a snapshot of FXCM's clients. It is not the holy grail but it is probably right 95% of the time I just post it for Atlast because he likes to see it now and again.

PS:Egypt Yes I saw your chart. I don't use fibs in intraday moves but good luck fading that extension.
May be but they must be ready for as usdx unfolded very bid down I see lately , so not actual recovery anytime soon if it depends upon $ values .
more may follow 69.* & actual break down .
anyway we just to use it for making some money only.

Ok.

I still will have serious doubts in those calculation as they also don't take in account a large investment bank hedging a position or an active monetary policy of the ECB for example... meaning shorting may have nothing to do with expecting the pair going lower and it can actually mean exactly the opposite.

what ? euro is not going at parity with the chf and the usd ? wow, that s surprising...and they told me to to go short at 1.19 euro/usd and short euro/chf at 1.32

dont know why people force shorts its obvious trend , dont chase for tops they need much more time to develop than bottoms, get on board ride it while it last get out when it settles & keep in mind that any news u hear has already been played & its ancient history.......

European Forex Technicals: GBP/USD Closing In On 1.6000

Intraday EUR/USD:


Forced an upside break into fresh three-month highs following the break above 1.3107 Monday, and is poised to put more pressure on resistance at 1.3196. Having met the key 1.3125 objective, the next target is the 200-day moving average, which lies around 1.3271. The 1.3045 area has become short-term pivotal support, and is protected by 1.3090.


Weekly chart EUR/USD trend: Bullish.


Intraday USD/JPY:


The setback off Monday's high at 86.89 is putting pressure on support at 86.28, and threatening to head lower towards the 86.20 higher low. A break below there would leave 86.89 as a near-term bull failure high, exposing an equality target at 86.08 and leaving last Friday's low at 85.95 vulnerable. A break above 86.65 is required to question the bearish outlook, opening 86.89.


Weekly chart USD/JPY trend: Bearish.


Intraday GBP/USD:


Monday's strength builds on last Friday's bullish outside day, and has stretched into fresh six-month highs to 1.5906. The 1.618 extension target at 1.5967 is the immediate target, which is also the 61.8% retracement of the 1.7041/1.4229 decline, and close to the 1.6000 level. Corrective weakness will attract support while above 1.5725, which is protected by the 1.5800 area.


Weekly chart GBP/USD trend: Bullish.



No reason to get stopped out - if adjustment and placement of Limits and Stops are in line with such TA
