You are talking about EU problem? Nowadays their economic data says they are improving. On the other hand "bad news" means USA economic data.
Why wise people will go for short until clear signal?
There were not much good data on USA economy, previous 6 months just EU crisis helped USA to save their economy.

If USD value back to the lowest value again USA will start begging. Because their exporting stats not much impressive and China gonna leave USA

only daily is bull,

weekly is still down . as long as you have not breached 38% retrace on any trend the trend is still intact .

but as i told you its personal view and could be wrong or right .

Everything is very intertwined with each other and connected simultaneously. As you say that the EU has saved the U.S. economy is weak euro and strengthening the European economy only because exports.

The setup is forming but not perfectly because of Spanish bonds news didn't allow the breach before the US GDP report. Now it has to breach around 1.2977 to complete the move.

The breach before was not only for timing purposes only, but with that negative news, buyers can hold the buying at the close.

It looks even more complicate after that for price to reach 1.31 today so the trade (if any) will imply holding over the weekend which cannot be a nice thing to do given the current circumstances. I still haven decided to take the setup, but the only thing for sure is that it must breach low very soon... otherwise is a no no.

Max. EU country's imports are greater than exports. EU default need strong euro. That means weak euro will put EU nations down. Hope you understand

Many other factors are internal. So internally dollar is dollar and unique currency.

But externally when you look outside strong dollar can serve you better.

Last year if import dropped much because of dollar's low value, calculate estimated import and export if dollar value comes in middle position.
Surely export will reduce and import will rise.
Suppose if exp:imp = 1:2 , then strong dollar can tweak strong economy.
Actually export is better to boost economy but strong dollar is better to save economy.

Weekly & Daily are trending up. Not discussion that the major trend (monthly) is extremely bearish. Today will confirm the first swing low after 8 months !!!. So yes, this is a retrace (wave up) in the general direction, the question is until when is the retrace not if this is a major retrace from the big picture.

Thank you and the other for your well wishes. I'm glad to see there are some on here with class.

My mother has been doing well since losing a breast. As I understand it, you are really never out of the woods with this.. My father died less than a year ago due to cancer.

Who the hell comes on here and starts talking about people's parents?.. Wow.. I felt even that was bad for this forum.. People that attack others they see as week prey really get under my skin and cause me to go after them with a fervor.. I take into consideration that for some, this is their only means of an outlet that doesn't reveal their true spineless nature.

BTW, I think we just saw a top in EUR/USD.. Until we go back above 1.3140 I will maintain a downward bias and add shorts to 1.15..
