Anybody with Oanda notice tick is acting kind of funny? Kind of like its refreshing price every second instead of tick by tick or something? Might just be low liquidity or my internet connection, but don't remember it acting like this before. Seems to be jumping around quite a bit.

What an insane PA... My longs stopped out, my short stopped out... good to know all these stops has been taken at BE...

Now I'm flat... waiting what's next.

Hmm since the UK open we've done more of a bearish setup than i was expecting.

Lately if we were going to have a move up we'd have a pretty strong fakeout the opposite direction of around 30 pips or so the 1st 30 or 45 minutes of UK trading then head back up.

Did the opposite today
I was able to ride the reversal down from 1.2946 to 26 for 20 pips

I dunno
I went into tonight expecting more bullish action.
May just take my 20 pips and call it a night.

And during NY-Session major market participitiants has had taken their chance to buy low as well. And they have had this chance minimum twice...

But of course - if 1.2986 area can not be taken out - they would cover later a bit...

You're right, might to be too early, but lets see how the market unfolds today. I still have a "sell" attitude today for intraday before it heads north.

Yes - dear n.prithyani - we took the chance - during Pacific Session Opening - as mentioned 11 or 12 hours ago - when market had its dip from 1.2911 towards below 1.2975 limits and tested that 1.2959 (38.2% fib-retrace) zone. At that level prices were rejected pretty sharply - and it went back to above 1.29-figure within a short time...

Might be what the Bears have been waiting for...blue boxes are Tokyo, Green are London...compared to last week, Tokyo was pretty weak today, and London over the past week has had a completely different outlook on the EUR

oh I see, makes sense. My overall outlook is long. Just immediate intraday I'm bearish. EURJPY is bear as well - for immediate intraday.

This is a cool thread, I'll follow along. I like the analysis style posted here.

I was thinking a long at 1.2880 would be a good idea going into tonight but I'm leaning away from that now.
I just don't like this action

I'll be looking at what happens around 1.2815 if we happen to get down there.

Diamond like swing within swing & swing but last small one working , broke reaction low, undershoot M5 mm , watching if can hold at 1.2863 .

Anyway it is good test for the bull & that failed,if break below 1.2863 then again to test reaction low , medium big one at 1.2794 for validation ,if again fail then bull should be over & out .
anyway still watching bull if can change things positive .
things developing so fast or trying for the same then what will do next 2 weeks ? anyway still only ranging expected before good market decision .

I'm beginning to lean towards a fall this week, given the inability to break through 1.3 for any length of time last week. Here's hoping, I'm bearish.

Our beloved Christian Tegllund Blaabjerg came for todays market situation to the following clue :

Update : Monday, July 26, 2010, 06:28 GMT (08:28 CET)

EUR/USD :

Daily Stance = neutral / positive

Buy dips to 1.2885 for the next leg back towards 1.30 area. Stops below 1.2830 zone.

GBP/USD :

Daily Stance = neutral / positive

Buy dips to 1.5400 for a target towards 1.55560 area. Stops below 1.5340 zone.

AUD/USD :

Daily Stance = neutral

While holding below 0.8980 zone risk we retrace back to 0.8900-10 area before chance of higher.

USD/JPY :

Daily Stance = neutral / negative

Prefer to sell rallies towards 87.85 area. Stops above 88.15 for a dip to 87.20 zone.

EUR/JPY :

Daily Stance = neutral / neutral

112.50 - 113.50 looks to be the range for today.

Yes your right, still GBP and EUR prove in the last few month's there position; they are 700,000,000 of population it's hard to ignore UK include.
