yea def agree......the hype was built up for 2 weeks, and wasnt followed through on "great news" today, if it did this would be over 30 atm and close over 30 for the week.....its simple, markets are gonna call bigtime bullshit next week on this pair.

I remember reading somewhere about the "spikes" around news times.

It stated it was definitely a liquidity issue because banks are pulling their orders around major news. Once their orders are pulled, price just bounces to the orders left out there brave enough to absorb the news. And that creates the spike.

There's no way in h*** your broker moved the market 100 pips to "stop hunt".

88 banks passed only 7 not passed but i am surprise why it went down it was a same situation as it happen before with US stress test that bank has passed but dollar was fell for next few months...but looking eu on 31 by next week before a big drop what do you say

Correctamundo! The smart money leaves the market before the major news events!

BTW, mfoste1 was not referring to stop hunts at all! He stated what you repeated. Thin liquidity because the smart money left the market!

Because this is suspicious test. Who can imagine after a huge blow, out of 91 just 7 banks failed?

you are right but there is something hidden which will come out on any major point and then EU will drop like a hell hahaha because it is impossible that EU zone was in crisis and only 7 bank infected its impossible

to pass the test the banks are holding more cash. holding more cash drys up liquidity. less lending etc. for business. so the banks pass and euro gains strength. at a time when liquidity is tightened. we still got a train wreck ahead. its just further in the future. in 2008 liquidity dried up. then we got here.

Hpotheticaly, If 20 + failed it would never make the public. Heard a guy say something along those lines because it would send the Euro zone into a depression.

It is not that I think anything close to that is possible but I do think they will underestimate problems, now matter how minor they might turn out to be.

Nice find! They categorically state that they didn't include sovereign debt, because European countries will not default on their debt. My money is on Greece defaulting in 2012/13.

Forget about stress test now , passed means passed , investors should be assured as per intention & now normal pa do whatever , they are ready for any action. I also think very big fall only after this reaction caeses with time at the top only. waiting break 2950 to show eur bull as very strong with or without reaching the levels down expected at 2753 or 2726 as not allowing to fall 1.2522 now perhaps .
HS invetered now can play 247 pips from 2946 validation level.

So medium term bull still intact & healthy & should continue till reach the end to start big down , they signal very ready for parity or low .
Longs will remain weekend as open .

Test is over, now banks have to do business with their holding cash. They have to release euro so why not we expect bear? But bear technically failing in every attempt. Still buying euro.

ECB done a good job. Offered a lending package with lowest interest rate. After that stress test. Nice trick! lol

Banking sector wasn't european problem but debt crisis.
