GU closed +62pips
EU closed + 40pips but in the morning I got cought by a fast move down (-20pips) what become nearly my tradition.

My UJ trade stopped out at break even when news came out. Bummer man.

Maybe a trade coming up on GU?

short GU, I took early entry on 5 minute chart. Sure looks like it wants to come down.

News coming out at 9:30 and 10:00 could mess with the trade.

EJ +77, EU +29, GU +11 Manually closed after candles moved up nice and then started to form wicks against me. Also, it was directly after news, so I didn't want to get caught in a correction of a spike.

Thinking if I might have been able to hold on for more. But, all three pairs have an H1 downward bias. I'd be super pissed if I held on for more just to watch profit turn to loss.

What does everyone think of just using a stock 50 pips stop loss?

I'm thinking putting the stop under the last wave and dragon tunnel is a good invalidation stop.

BUT, over the very short time I've been trading sonic I've noticed a few things.

1. If it goes so far against you, (before going into profit), to go below the last wave it's proably not coming back anyway.

2. Often if you get a good entry that works out it can go in your favor without much retrace.

3. Sometimes trades can hit upwards of +100 pips.

So, I'm thinking with those things and a stock 50 pips SL the monemanagment, risk/reward would be easier to nail down. If I always limited my losses to -50 pips and did my best to let winners run to the +100 or more it could work out nicely.

So far any trades that had SL -50 pips or greater that went to -50 and turned around and went into profit. Has anyone else?

After taking another break for almost a whole week which was spent re-studying, I am back today focusing only and mainly on EU with a hefty 130pips on the move up since the morning . Trade was closed in two, half at 1.2860 & half at 1.2900 and now eying a short from the top for a nice end of day... Thank you TAH for your constant support and timely advice…

Yes I did... you can see my trade history on the chart with the little arrows and trend lines right as London was opening...

PS: Once you click the image you can click on it again and it will open in a diff window and there you have the option of zooming in one click where you will see the details

EU Watch:

I find myself looking to see if the asian session trading offers any clue as to the main direction today. Yesterday the asian session traders offered a clear signal they expected price to move up. So, what signal are they offereing today?

Up to now, the trading has been most active at the highs, with the most activity of all on the run down off the highs. This is the opposite of yesterday, so it looks like the traders are expecting a move down.

If we do get a move down, I should imagine that first the euro trading will spike the price up; a Head Fake move as it were, enabling shorting at higher prices. And if this happens it will most likely be started by the Frankfurt traders, who come to the table an hour before the London traders.

This is all speculation, of course, so lets see what the market decides.

The upward spike apparently not even as high as asian trading took PA, the downward move is starting a bit early, unless there is still to be another spike upwards by the euro traders.

But, we trade what we see, we....

let the market decide.

So, I have entered short. If this takes another swing up, then I might just add.

Hi T,

I always puzzled by how to choose the parameter of the NVO. You know different parameter will show different NVO Histogram.

I find you use several parameter such 20 or 768... How about you to choose it?
