lower TF MAs have moved above the higher TF MAs. And they r almost parallel. Indicates a bull run to continue

Well after 2 hours and 40 minutes, the P.A. slow down in anticipation for the german news I think so I'm canceling the order now. No trade.

I saw that CNBC report too. If they are in fact softball (ala CNNs Larrry King) , it could actually hurt the very thing the EZ wants...credibility and confidence. Kathy Lien said in another report that if they are too soft, this could be a case of buy the rumor, sell the news. Im not sure if investors are smart enough (or want) to look past the fluff the EU has been known for at first release, which has me thinking a knee jerk reaction may be in the cards. But this thing could set the stage for months to come IMO.

My thought exactly. Before the US stress tests were released everybody pretty much knew the results. They were very clear on how they were being conducted to such an extent that people could pretty much figure the results out themselves. On top of this, the US stress tests were using severe depression like scenarios and banks were making out alright. There was good reason for people to be optimistic before and after these tests. There is absolutely no transparency in Europe with regards to their banks and tests. Nobody really knows anything and the tests are only 3 days away. Why are they being so secretive about them? It seems to me they announced the tests without really thinking it over. What was originally suppose to restore confidence has turned into a ploy to minimize damage. If they are in fact barely stressing the banks as reports are saying, they must not have much confidence in their banks to begin with. I don't see what these tests are going to prove. If you don't actually stress the banks then they are worthless. My guess is they are trying to create the illusion that the tests are actually good. The recent rally in the euro in combination with a carefully worded report will do this in the short term. Selecting only the best performing banks and barely stressing them doesn't seem like it will hold up. I would think people would eventually see through this, but then again there are a lot of idiots out there who believe whatever they hear.

Yeah, this whole thing is BS. Also, looking at the euro over the last month. This isn't somebody accumulating in anticipation of a further up move. This is blatant manipulation. Like I've said before, if your trying to accumulate you buy dips or create selling pressure and buy up that pressure. You don't jump up and down and yell "HEY EVERYBODY, I'M GONNA THROW A FUCK TON OF MONEY AT THE EURO SO ALL OF YOU GO LONG BECAUSE I WANT TO PAY MORE!!!". Its blatantly obvious they are trying to push this up. Every single time this shows a hint of weakness, a ton of money is dumped into this thing and it makes new highs. Right now is another perfect example. Could be a coordinated effort between US and Europe. Tomorrow could be another nasty day in the US markets but a timely rally of the euro to ease the pain?

You know the trends have to end and if you play attention to overbought/oversold conditions you would see that the pair was highly oversold and couldn't go lower. Also, the US news haven't been very good and I wonder what bad news are about to come out in September, the bad news month for US. About today, what can't go down, has to go up, fortunatelly :-)

Add: daily tf does not seem down enough but anyway price stalled & now candle 6th running up that is the determinant of the rally also & can retrace enough too .
The confusion is over now perhaps with price above reaction high & looking for only 1.32 as next resistance .

Yeah, its gonna be rough regardless. IBM down over 4% after hours and they make up like 6% of the DOW alone. That will drag down other techs. Just saying to ease the pain a little.

The equity markets have not had much affect on the eur/usd lately thanks to china buying all of the euros debt. Unless this week shows evidence to once again lose confidence in the euro. This trend will continue with the dow up or down for a while.
