I like you, use mostly the 1 hour charts. Less noise and more relaxing.

After exactly 3 months watching this EA the most mysterious thing is for me the quite different behaviour for different brokers. All situations are possible for the various traders here - somebody has trades somebody not ... at the next days someone has someone not .. and so on .. and it seems nobody can understand why ?
For instance at this friday no one of my 7 brokers (active trades, alpari UK, ibfx, FxOpen, Varengold, TadawulFx, NordMarkets) triggered any trade ... however a lot of people here got a loosing trade triggered ? Why somebody got ... and somebody not ... ???
Is where any solution for this prob ?

hmmm 
I think geoffs main idea opening this EA thread was the possibility of avoiding manual trading ! I remember his first posts in this thread - and he spoke about his bad experience concerning manual trading - so his way out was even automatical trading. If we now mix this EA with manual trading - so what does that mean ? Is it here robot/EA trading or not ?

Hi SKY. I made the +15 pips on the daily chart as I was checking the long term trend. Here is the 3 ducks that I use. Not aware of an updated version.

BUT I think only luck was on your side at this time ... another day another trade and may be v9 will take the loosing trade and v 16 won't ? You can't deduce any general rules from only one trade ! Here are surprisingly a lot of new and different results for different brokers and different EA versions every day ! Read the posts of various traders here every day ! Unfortunately every day you may read about inconsistent results !
I think so far nobody knows the best combination of brokers and EA versions - and really: may be there is no such combination at all ? May be it is all a question of different random price sheets of all these brokers - every broker has its own price for the one GBPUSD at every moment of time. How to resolve this broker prob ?

When v16 didn't trigger on Broco, I waited for calstock's 1.5418 ish and went long 3 times at 5417, 5414 and 5412 for 17 to 22 pips assuming the market would at least retrace back up to near the ea entry of 1.5440.
I tried to go long again at 1.5387, but that one didn't pan out - turned out not a very strong support level there, for a loss of 12. But with a net of +49 for the day I guess I'm not too bent out of shape. You the man calstock!
calstock #7040: Looks like theres nothing today, so it a early weekend for me....
To me looks like it could fall back to around 1.5418 ish....but with the lack of volume it could sit there all day....
#7045 This is now looking like it might turn at this point....waiting for the hour candle to confirm the low point....placed pending buys at 1.54417 (I assume you meant 1.5417)....so they will be in profit before we hit the daily high...1.54710

You have a lot of good points.
About people maually tradeing the EA isnt what Geoff set out for.
He wanted things simple so you didnt have to guess what is going to happen next.
You just trust the EA to do what it is suppose to do,WIN
There is nothing wrong with people trading the EA manually, any kind input to this to this thread is all good.
I know alot of people are trying different versions, and some work good one day with one broker and then the next day it is another verion that works with another broker the best.
As long as were all moving forward to help each other, its all good.
It seems like we are getting more and more all over the place with so many different versions and it starts to get confusing.
It is a big guessing game, nobody know which way it is going to go, except for me.
It will go up or down or it won't do neither.

But can we avoid this ? Probably not.. the way it looks like one EA is working with one broker and the other is version EA is not.
Sometime, the same version EA is making trades with one broker and not with another broker.
The best thing is that - trader should stick to one EA instead of juggling with multiple versions..
if you want to change EA, demo first before making it to live..
Also if you want to change broker, demo first before going to live..
