no basically i was just doing a study based on corporate risks using option hedges.

interestingly at current prices many are still running on negative books, this i can bet due to various discussions with several 'friends' in MNC companies. So you see the 'pump'n by ecb is a way of them telling this companies, "Last chance...take you losses quick!"

For the past 2 years Eur has been trading at a range of 1.5 - 1.3 with the highest amt of frequency, infact i would say that 1.38 was the 'favorite price'. This is the what i have concluded as the market accepted rate due to their frequency in range.

Due to recent fundamental events Euro has been forced to trade beyond their acceptable band. This will surely take sometime for market to digest, thus im suspecting that there may be some sort of 'intervention' coming soon or it will tilt the stability of the overall economy. Why? lets just say, hundreds of millions and problably billions if its a huge coy, in forex losses = bad annual statement.....ponders

We've done 121% of average weekly range at the high and 117% of average monthly range (and we're only halfway through the month). Just a bit of trivia for ya I'm neither long nor short but might be time to take a rest. It must be puffed out with all this climbing.
Nothing worth having is easy.

to be honest, i do not know anything coz studies are just...studies. we still have to wait for the trigger. (like ecb news or whatever) and market re-action. Their hegdes are usually sitting on a few mmonths before expiry/maturity, thus euro dropping a knee jerk of over 1500 pips in a few month IS a big deal for them, it kills all their hedges

this kinda currency movements will affect alot of big companies which has vested interest in exchange rates thus, volitility is duly expected.

corporations are not stupid, by now the hedges could be full short while they cover the losses on the long side. be nimble esp around these ROUND zones. 2 weeks 700pips movements while buying on dips, you could easily make it out to be abt 50000 pips on average, isnt that a good haul?

I suppose it's possible to get higher level of 1.30-1.3110 today and after that maybe it will slowly returns the direction.

I feel bulish power. Moreover strong level of 1.2890 is done.

I use scalping as entry. I am looking at the daily chart with heiken ashi then 1H with heiken ashi (they should both go the same way).

Yhen I look at the 1M heiken ashi for a good entry...

Scalping is very hard as most people look at longer timeframes...

Only through trial and error + analysing the mistakes and exclude them in the next trade will you meet success... walk your own way...

It appears DOW is taking resistance around 10500-600 mark and similarly, Hangseng and Sensex,Nifty India are seeing a weaker formation. We could see weakness in the coming sessions. Should be cautious on the upside at present.
