I'll tell you why I don't trade GJ. FXDD charges 9 friggin' pips for that baby......NINE!

Hell, that is 3 pips cost in per 50 pips of range! That is WORSE than UJ!

EJ has about the same range average as GJ. And for EJ, FXDD charges only 4 pips.....that is only 44.44% of the cost of GJ. Why would I bother with GJ?

I should stick to EU and EJ. I think I will. If one can't find a trade with these two, then maybe it is not a time to trade anything.

EU Watch & Short Trade Update:

Everyone is waiting for the USD Trade Balance release in about 5 minutes.

I have added again. Average short entry is as shown on attached chart.

This trade could go either way. But if it goes down, it could be a range breaking move. So I added TP2 in the area of GMT Daily pivot S3 and the nearby half number.

....Let the market decide.

Yes. But that does not mean that the "invalidated" EP area won't come into play again. Whipsawing is an example. It takes the price in the opposite direction....fast. When PA later reverses again, if the reverse move is sufficient, then a new EP in the same direction as before can be made. But the earlier one may be the one to stick to. The new one may be a bit higher, but the previous one may be more reliable. Just a thought.

Hi Yes! I took 25 and cut out I had to go for a quick meeting. But im happy with that.. was thinking about EU long but with the PA the way it was I wasnt too sure.. I SHOULD HAVE!

EU Watch & Short Trade Update:

The drive up has attracted a lot of trading in the region of the highest highs. I don't know, but looking back on this move later, it might turn out looking like the whip part of a whipsaw; a rise, a drop, and the down trend resumes. But, we'll see what actually happens. But there sure is a lot of traders interested in it at the highs at the top of this drive.

I added to short trade again. Average is per chart, just over whole number. I've said it many times, so don't be surprised that I am in this trade still, even though the SL position was reached. My SLs are mental when I am at the computer....especially when there is the possiblility of high volatility following a release.

Everything was lined up according to the rules, so I placed 5 pips above the breakout bar.

Was trailing manually tightly and quickly because a bearish channel and a fibo pivot were above. Locked Be at +30, then it backed up a bit, so I locked +20 and was stopped out.

As of this post it looks like I could have stayed in with my initial SL. But, I did not want to chance a hard bounce off the channel against my position. Also on the 4H price is at the top of the channel.

And I'm new to sonic.

It'l probably break out huge then I'll be kicking myself, lol, that always happens to me.

O well ill take 20 for the day and be happy.

(A little more trade commentary, cause I'm done for today)

This one had a 5 point wave count before entry. zig zag painted them for me. L1 at channel bottom, then HH, HL, HH, HL...... and a bit of range before the actual break out bar.

EMA pointing 2:00, above ema 89, qqe & cci pointing up and over there lines.

I been reading this thread for sometime & people are saying they make money wit this system & they keep posting chart here & there,
so those who successful care to show the past 3 month result ?
i don't need to see how much money you have in your's account just how many pip you make per month with the detail of every trade

in-fact i read many tread & attend some seminar & meet some so call guru in the past but none dare to show their past result

so pls give me some faith that forex cam make money, some hard evident instead of blank talking (no offense)

About 3 years live. New to sonic though. I have a long term strategy, but sometimes it does not set up for a looong time.

For the longest time I've been looking for something to trade with short term that works consistently well.

I think sonic, followed properly could be a very good edge for intra day trading.

Im new to this method so I can't help you there. But, I will say this. I dont think someone showing you a statement would help much. Though the op was showing his wins many times through the course of the thread.

The problems with forums is most people post when they win and are silent when they lose. I'll admit I've been guilty of that in the past.

What attracted me to this method is it is straight forward and simple and based price action and waves and support and resistance. Which are IMO some of the strongest things you can trade off of.

I think the best thing you can do is read the manual and the rules, then pull up your favorite pairs and see how many times trades would have worked out if you followed the rules 100%. That's what I did, and that convinced me enough to at least give it a go.

As with any method there are always losers, no method wins 100% of the time. But, you want a method with a high win ratio and some large winners. Looking back through many posts, apparently this method can produce both. But that is not from experience, that is just from reading past posts.

My experience thus far is that at the very least this method often does produce very nice breakout trades. Meaning that from entry you don't have to endure much drawdown before at least going into small profit.

EU, A Classic SonicR Setup & Trade:

Per attached pic. This is one to put into your notebook for future reference!

Edit: Added second chart (notebook worthy, also). While fibonacci tools are an aide, don't forget the power of the "Whole Number"! After the euro traders left the table for the day, the US traders pumped the price another 30+ pips, just to hit the next higher whole number. Why? Well, they might be in selloff mode now, and unloading some at that whole number was just an itch they had to scratch!
