we did free fall past #1 and #2.. but we did come back and respect both. so this little bear is live and well. They were fighting powerful idis like macd and put up a good fight. but this means nothing. our 800 pip bull ended at 2711.2 (yellow chart). but a bounce after slip is always expected. so we will probably go back for a second shot. maybe more then twice. its up to the tl and the 3400 pip bear that is still live and well. this bounce was not big enough to weaken the 800 pip bull much. if this is clear to you, your not getting it. anyway i closed mine all but some long term ones because of earnings and stress test. i will trade with the lower trend direction until broken near tl.. IF we get back..

big bear. from 1.6... he had 2746 as a possible top. as said 50% #s are a bitch. we move through them many times before resumption. more baby bear targets can be added to the others in sequence (w/o new high). 24665 and 22425

Anyone trade stocks on nasdaq afterhours?
Here we see the 89 SMA in between the main UTL and another supplementary trendline. You se the break and the test. We could ultimately bounce off the 89 or eventually get a bounce off the major UTL. I am short for now near term.

It feels real good to be back on my feet and visit FF again and today I will like to share/expand on my thought regarding this post by AK when he used the term CLASSIC TECHNICAL STALL. I have always advocated in the past that in order to be a successful and profitable forex trader, one must not only know and recognise the characteristics/signs of stalling signal for both topping and basing, one MUST also have a method in order to trade those condition, AND this is only a small step forward besides other prerequisites in order to make it in this very seemingly easy and complex business of forex.

Namely can your Charting Package/Trading System tells you:-

1.The stalling signal as mentioned above
2.Pullback level(not to be confuse with retracement)
3.Current(intraday) and Prevailing(both short and middle term) Market Conditions or Trend.
4.Retracement and Trend change price levels and trigger point.
5.Method for entry/tp/sl management for the various and ever changing dynamic market conditions.

Its is imperative that one must have all these in place before he goes on live trade so that one can track and follow the market movements and price actions by using all those navigational aids listed above. Never try to predict/forecast the price levels EVEN if you know how to project the depth of any upside/downside thrusts using the often misunderstood Mom and Fibo. Ask yourself how many market conditions can you rightly recognized and have/know of a effective method how to trade those conditions. I personally know of 16(sixteen) different market conditions.

One of the best Post is by a trader here in FF named Mr. Topher in his opening post. If you can grasped what he said then I can guarantee you that your focus of Money Management will be change/switch from Risks Management to Profit Maximisation.(The AHA moment)

Haven't been on in a week and looks like everyone is still putting bullets in this zombie uptrend- where have all the bulls gone?

I'm no long term bull and will begrudgingly short when my 15 min chicken bones say to but after this June 7th run up (best since the Dec '09 crash) I'm really favoring the long side when the bones present it.

WWJR do? (what would Jim Rogers do?) bet he is still long from the June 7 lows.. where we came w/in 300 pips of the Euro launch value..

Nice post 99vt66, you write all in a few words.can you please explain each item of the 5 that the charting system should tell? each by each so traders can grasp by this holidays . may be a big chapter to finish but as I feel understanding the chart is more important than any technique.

According to my charts, we should at least see 1,24 but I am not to sure if the lower trendline is strong enough to hold. otherwise 1,215 would be next stop (maybe after the results of the stress tests have been announced)

Fontu, you may be asking the wrong question becos the answer will not help you in anyway to be a better trader. Those points are a must haves in your chart in all time frames or else you are trading blind and your trading accounts will be like a EW (50 counts) at best. I am not telling my system and I make no apology about it. I am merely sharing those points needed in order to succeed but those interested will have to build up their own chart.

The most critical key point is knowing all the current and prevailing Market Conditions becos all the intraday, s/m/l term MOM and Fibo levels are based on those conditions in order to accurately plot and give you a precise readings to manage you entry/tp/sl levels. Different assets class/currency pairs have their own unique dynamics and depth in their movement both in the Indicators effectiveness and settings. Thats the reason why a trader cannot successfully trade two different asset class/currency pairs using the same indicators and standard settings.

If it all sounds a bit confusing to you is due to becos I am a trader but a lousy teacher whose weakness is the difficulty in articulating/expressing those trading points into simple words. I always got myself in unnecessary trouble due to this weakness of mine. Sorry for that..........

Thanks for the information . I do not read a book A-Z or have the time to do so or not follow taking ideas blindly . Only do and can think what i know & within my limitation only.so try learning from other's style /experience if they can turn into works .

Hope you also not follow those wise words,everybody might have know & read in every book , rather earned something by experience & by nature and very likely can be hallucination , delusion or simple intuition person specific those can't be transformed into real words or technical /how can do .

yes ,all things can't be learnt should acquire . Its ok . wish best trading for you & hope one day try to be like yours.
