On December 10, 2009, I suggested that one definition of a Market Reversal might be when two long-term Exponential Moving Averages cross, on the Four Hour time frame (H4). For these two attached H4 charts, the EMAs would be the 72ema and the 200ema.

At that point in December, the price of the EURUSD pair was $1.4888.

This morning, the H4 72ema has again crossed the 200ema, after the Euro continues to rebound from it's June 7th low of $1.1875.

A note of caution: On the attached Weekly chart (W1), trends are going the other way, for these same two long term EMAs. In this case, these two EMAs last crossed each other in March of 2003, when the Euro was at $0.9820.

I would echo, with caution, the speculations of other colleagues: Euro up for now, but perhaps a very, very, strong Dollar on the horizon.

watching pa since morning today & the update of my views :

Price now in a wedge up may play , top at 1.2686 to 96 area , that is above previous high & if so then may take more higher levels .
Anyway still in favour of the failure at the top to come down to the levels.
Extreme up above 1.2674 may also can take to tl 1.2728 & finally may fail. otherwise expecting retrace sufficiently to bull again from at lower good support levels & may not up this time over 1.2628/56

Just an update td sequential counts :
daily , weekly still in bull , H4 tf sell set up perfection & count down on 9th running & at the same time trying make time short as in bear rally also & M30 already sell signal confirmed & retrace up ,waiting actual sell after plus m15 sell set up perfection recently & ready to retrace down before a signal there .

Only lower tf h1 in buy setup perfection , trying hard to retrace up & in short time by a bull rally .
So most important tf H1, daily still bull for a daily range & not ready to give up yet , price to come down & hold at 2526 aborting Daily bull pa .

Its better to take small (3 lots lol ^^) profits with 30 pips than go emptyhanded out of a trade I quit mine because there still might be some powerhouse of a move left in this one according to forks etc, but im just to tired, ive been watching charts for 10 consecutive hours now and im telling you that im just gonna wait this one out.

Its really up to you, if i tell you But 30 pips a day should be more than enough

EDIT:

Based on the forks whis has the potential to go to the Median line of the green fork, or the LML of the brown upfork, thats either 20 more pips or 49 more pips. Im happy with the money, no need for extra risk for me. Either way up to you

Thanks i would close 2 lots and let two ride till new sl at 12620............ thankz please in future if its Ok with can i kepp bugging u for trends setups and all please a requst trying to learn and survive in forex..

certainly +55 pips is your limit,
but I think, with euro weakens (ECB expected to leave rates at 1%) will
put usdX up, and your cable would give you, your 55 pips back.

ea finally started moving. i came close to giving up in this one. it has reached target #1 now and on the way hopefully to target #2 4150 (yellow chart).. 530 pips lower... i will then look for a lower target at #3 38454. atm 4680..

still looking for eu to get to 4711.2 /4746 to short it. other then that scalping and waiting for stress test..

If this short works with price breaks at 2568 . 2526 & 2480 then you can wait setting you tp later , before that can set sl at be if some profit already . short still unrealible at this level & even sl at 2670 .

I don't see anything there but a document with a bunch of numbers on it when opened?

So post a chart, if using MT4 and windows.

Right click chart, save as

go into post reply, click attachments.

choose file

upload

then when you go back to your post reply screen, do not forget to click attachments again and insert the attachment itself into your actual post. All you have to do is hit, "insert all" after clicking attachments.

C'mon, it's just a one loss, part of the trading - there's no perfect setup, you never know. That's why important is to know what you're doing - are you really ready and capable to take the possible loss. And don't be afraid to take them - they will teach you more than winning trades.
