Just wanted to state that you're chart is too much indicatory !! It'll pay if you try to remove some ("most" would be a better word ) of those indicators.

I suggest you read the thread from the beginning and put a good 2 months into it. Sonic has really given us all a great system but it is up to us whether we dedicate study hours to it and have the will to learn it as it is supposed to be learnt. I myself just caught up not long ago with this thread, in it you will find a lot of generous people willing to help.
I am still learning myself, so I might be wrong here in my chart as well. I hope the seniors will be able to give you more feedback.

EJ and EU Trade Updates:

Just closed Friday's EJ trade for 33 pips profit.
Just closed Friday's EU trade for 25 pips profit.

My thinking is this is just the asian session; just the first run down. The US traders (off yesterday) will want to run it down from the highs, most likely. So either they, or the euro traders are likely to run it up again first.

WARNING: Speculation. It could go lower before hand, or just keep going down. But I decided to take small profit and sit back and wait for a reset, or re-entry during approved hours.

EU Watch:

The chart shows the asian traders have put a lot of trading in at the lows. They may be thinking the more monied traders in the euro/US sessions are going to give this another pump to the previous highs, or at least the mid-highs (open/DPV area), where PA has spent most of its time yesterday. The asian traders would get a quick nice little long trade out of it.

I made a very small non-SonicR long entry at the current lows, and won't look for much on this trade.

The point is, PA may take another short trip back up before the market decides which way from there.

EU Long Trade Closed:

The "quick" long trade off support is closed with 40 pips profit.

The asian traders returned the price to where they started to drive it down. So, I figured it time to get out.

It is now a SonicR setup, but too early in the game.

EU Short Trade Initated:

This is an early short entry off Resistance. The euro traders have really not yet begun.....they could still drive it hard up a ways.

Pivots are now changed from broker server Daily to GMT based Fibonacci pivots, as that is what the euro traders most use (I am told). I don't believe it really makes that much difference. Targets should be foremost based on PA history of S&R and heavy consolidation areas. And whole/half numbers are very important, too.

Moved SL to BE after hitting +30 pips. I done it so soon because I traded before london session. It may reverse on me easily and if it hit's my SL and goes up again, I'll not be surprized ...

Closed all position at tp1 [1.5190] (it was with big volume ...) and bagged +43 pips. Will enter with 1 risk on retrace (if it does) at 50% fibo line of the last bullish movement (not the one in the chart).

With a little over 30 minutes left on this H4 chart, it looks like PA has the potential to end up as a Double Top. M15 volume, PA and GMT Fibonacci pivots do leave room to speculate the possibility price will be driven over the whole number, before this is all over.

The volume of trades shown on M1 clearly indicates a lot of traders believe the whole number area +/- is as far as it is going to go, and have jumped in with their short orders. We have not yet heard from the US traders. They carry a whallop, and can drive it higher. But it looks like the traders responsible for the high activity at the extreme highs are not afraid of it going too much higher.

I too, added to my short trade. My first entry earlier was light. This was not. So my average is close to the highs.

None of this is SonicR. Entries were made based on PA and apparent resistance. The first resistance (mid-range) did not hold. Current resistance (top of range) is more likely to. But it is all high risk. And the only reason I ventured into shorting is due to the high trading volume at the highs Friday and again now.

The fly in the ointment is the US traders; no telling what will happen there. But I agree with all the others responsible for the high trading at the highs....whatever the US traders do, it is not likely to be extravagant. The top of the average range has not been reached, so there is a possibility for them. I'll keep my SL mental, because no matter what they do, I believe some serious downside is coming.

What kind of pivot indicator are you using? I have triend many of Fibo Pivots *.mq4 files here in forum but never got the same level as you have.

By putting NVO on a period of 768 (the quantity of M15 perods over 8 days) it is easy to see on the M15 where trader's interest lies; at the highs. NVO shows little activity since the highs of Friday (pump and dump, imho). Monday was a US bank holiday and nobody made any disruptive moves. Today the asian traders drove it down and then poured on the activity at the lows....like they knew the euro traders would do a 'pump and dump' just like US traders did Friday. They were right, and of course the highest trading activity since the highs on Friday did occur again at the highs in the euro session....(the asian traders and everyone else jumping ship, imho).

I think NVO is screaming something at us! But we still need to deal with the US traders. They may not have all jumped ship on Friday.

Same here, Sold @ 1.2595. and now after the second retrace I'd tightended the SL and brought it 1.2610 . TP is open for now. I'll add to my position when I saw a sonic-r short entry ... It was a 1% risk for my account at first, but it's 0.3% Risk after 3% profit that I had today ... It's a good risk for me

Hello Tah,

Is it normal for the NVO shown below to have no activity? As I remember you once mentioned that it is broker dependent, however I find it strange that nothing whatsoever is noted here on my chart. How would you deal with such a situation had you encountered it?

I don't know who your broker is, as there does not appear any broker watermark on your MT4 charts. That being the case, the only thing I can suggest is you call the broker and find out why their volume data is so crappy. And if you don't get an answer you like, change broker. It is obvious that trading activity increased above the 768 period average. If your broker volume data is so low, then change period to 20 and see if NVO picks up any of the above average activity that way. Just a thought.
