Hi all,

How's life here i saw this huge cup and handle in the chf/jpy with 2 fib 50% confluence i will keep my eyes on this week how it devolops but if it breaks could be a runner again.

With the FX slow as heck this U.S. afternoon, I'm glad to have been fishing around and discovered Saxon's great thread.....I look forward to checking it out as the market wakes back up from it's current malaise.

Hi all,
How did your weekend go? As for myself, I went to Sequoia and then ended up driving all around via Tioga Pass back home. Not much hiking but pretty relaxed weekend (last one was in Sept last year). And awesome views ...we even had a glimpse of a bear (my wife insists it was my imagination)

The only grouse I have is I couldnt see Germany beat Argentina (and what a whopping that was)...Tuner, Germany should be the favorites now, though I am still hoping the Dutch go through..

Anyways, seems the pairs are still having the weekend blues. Lets see how the trading week goes..

Btw does anyone know where I can find the average daily movement for various pair.

Hi aragorn. FX360.com usually has it but do you use the ATR (avg true range) indicator?
When this baby hits 88 miles per hour, you're gonna see some serious s***.

Hey Marc,
I am not looking for ATR really.. it needs a number of days input and I never can decide on which one to use. I was looking more to have a rough idea of the daily movement of different pairs.

AUD cash rate later, any ideas? Wonder how much longer they are going to hold......I want to short at DP to take a pre-data pricing. It would also be sweet if PA could get to Monthly Piv Daily R1 confluence too. that's a sweet spot

My take is that for AU, there is no way in hell they will raise rates. The only possibilities are a hold or lower. So one would anticipate negative pre-data pricing......or am I just shooting in the dark here

I'm sitting here waiting for another short entry. Right now I want to short really bad at Daily PP but I've got a problem. Important MA's on all TF's are at 8414... just 5 pips above D PP! I don't want to miss the short so I'm setting the sell limit at 8409. Hopefully by the time PA moves 9 pips higher from here the MA's will have moved down...it's so slooow!

Ya, if you set your stop above 8414 you should be ok. We are getting friction at "00" 84 right now, so hopefully it can get to DP

Ya. I agree. Don't really expect them to raise again now.
(They are already pretty far ahead)
Pretty lame moves today only. Lookin at the charts got boring.

What I wanted to ask you guys. (with much more experience.. )
What to expect during the Summer?
Someone mentioned "Holiday Trading" --> Lower volumes as some banks are closed and institutional traders goin on vacation ,...
Low volumes can be dangerous IMO. So how do you trade during that time? any advices?
