Where is your SL on that sell? Maybe get you get SL hit again. Sell closer to 2620 with small SL at 2638. Still trending up. Too risky. Bull trap still not closed yet.

I went long before NFP at 1.2550 with tight SL and closed at weekly reistance and made 50 pips. Covered half of my loss from yesterday's reverse trend trading. damn...am I becoming a gambler?

You are right, i had put the sell limit at 2565. still not activated.

See..They got ya almost to the pip if you did sell and now you have to hope it does drop at 2620 as I sad. Dont box yourself in by jumping to fast....Go slow and Box in the PA to keep the odds on your side. If the odds go against you then just close the trade.

Looking at other markets, it looks like the big boys are done for the day and off to the Hamptons. I expect very light volume with it mostly being retail traders.

Yes..Good if you did not get filled on the sell yet.
The 2608 guys will be sweating here is aminute or so. They are in good shape though until 2635 if they can hang that long though.

I was trying a new technique - as per that long from 2610 and short at 2565 for 50 pips move on either side (in the first trade which got stopped at 2580, i got 60 pips)

I see. very good. Mighta shoulda called a day, but good none the less.
That statemnet about Big boys going to the hamptons does not make sence who ever wrote that. It is only 9:30...U.S Stocks just opened....A little early for the Hamptons I think.

I say long to 1.30 at this point. We've clearly broken the head and shoulders and the jobs was not enough of a surprise. Additionally, the USD is not benefiting from its safe haven flows with this huge asset reallocation because of the Lending data regarding Eurozone banks and the ECB. Whether, the market goes up or goes down this flow has contributed to a weaker dollar. The head of the pattern was roughly 1.19. The neckline 1.2450. If we project the distance from the head to the neckline (550 pips) we arrive at exactly 1.30. I think we could drift a little above that to 1.3150-1.32.
