dambuster-> Are those +205 pips linear or adjusted based on how many lots you were trading? If you started trading just as an example with 0.1 lots and eventually went to trading 2.5 lots, then even if the total pips is still a positive 205, since you were trading much more when the loss happened, the adjusted pips based on this would be much less than +205 pips. For example, are you saying you are positive +205 pips that are valued at 2.5 lots or between the beginning and end it's +205 pips, but that is not true representation based on how many lots you were trading and thus not reflective on how pos/neg cash flow you are?

If it's adjusted +205 pips, then you are positive +205 pips worth of 2.5 lots, which would mean that you are still positive $5,125 since you started trading this EA?

I'm curious because I'm interested in what money management you used to get to 2.5 lots, or if you just started with 2.5 lots. And if you are really positive $5,125 from +205 pips and those are adjusted, I think the money management you are using is very good and can be useful to other traders in this forum.

I think with proper money management, you can be very successful with this EA, but if you went to 2.5 lots too quick or don't have a solid money management in place, then I can see it kill the account. But do very well with solid money management.

What are your thoughts on their VPS? Gallant is the provider for the service and they were hacked a few weeks ago.

Did you notice any issues at that time? Do you have admin privileges? How is latency? I was unable to get an answer out of them.

Tokyo v14 #3 - Alpari demo

No trade this night.

On my demo with the new Tokyo V14
eurusd ; closed :+22 tp, +7 tsl, +11 = +40
usdjpy : + 22 closed and two other trades are still open and will either hit the tp or tsl, have to wait and see.they cant lose even if they hit tsl.
No trade on gbpusd on demo or live.
Journal has no errors at all , and looks like trade went the way it was piptician said it was suppose to.
It has numbers about profits on charts.
There are arrows and thumbs up and down but a little hard to see since they are bunched together.
I will use the live account tomorrow for gbpusd tokyo V14.

If you get two arrows pointing in the same direction (Moving Averages are
pointing in the same direction) and you have three thumbs up then a trade
will be initiated. If you hover over the tips of the arrow/thumbs/fractals then a
tooltip will appear describing what the annotation is.

This is my report and very strange
Fxpro live V14 2 orders no trades tonight ( Sma arrows opposites, red thumbs down)
seems OK
but Fxpro demo V14 3 orders (Sma arrows aligned, green thumbs up)and take the 3 sell orders with Tp 22; 10.10; 6.5!!
all triple checked and nothing in journal or tags
What is wrong?

This is one for piptician, did the SMA's show in opposite directions on the 3 order demo?

On a different note, I forgot to change the magic number in the .set files
for the 1, 2 and 3 order options, please change them.

If you do a chart "refresh" this may get rid of the extra display.

I was thinking about one thing. Since this EA trades with the trend and most of the times the trend can last even for days, it might be a good idea to open additional long term trades and keep them open with a trailing stop.

I collected some nice extra pips this way.

yes the Sma were really in opposite direction 197 up and 10 down

I notice you are showing the H1 chart but the annotation is designed to show
on the M5 chart, definitely one for piptician I think!

I show the H1 chart to show the good Sma
on M5 they are in the same direction but they are not the used Sma for signal

I could be wrong but I don't think the arrows and thumbs should be showing on the H1 chart!

I have also the thumbs on M5 chart but the problem is:
why have the orders triggered the 2 Sma (H1) being in opposite directions?
