Crap thing was yesterday price hit 1.51200, Tp is 1.51204

sometime 5 digit can bite.

K...went live tonight for first time, but no trade yet...s/l's are at 40 for now

Im on ibfx.
Someone said something about ibfx won't allow a trailing stop unless your at least 30 pips in profit.
When the 1st trade hits TP at 22 pips then the 22 pip trailing stop if suppose to kick in right ?
Doesnt the trailing stop have a red line like the hard stop or doesnt it show up on the chart ?

The file was comin with PHP extension?

I noticed that in the preset files attached,
x1 uses TokyoOpenTime=2
x2 uses TokyoOpenTime=2
x3 uses TokyoOpenTime=3

I think this is a bug that needs to be fixed?

Geoff's optimization runs identified the 140 SL as the best SL to allow for the fewest losing trades - it gives the trade room to run.

A smaller stop loss will dramatically increase your losses.

True, actually hitting the SL can be a huge loss, so use proper Money Management to adjust the size of the trade to a loss you can live with, while staying at the 140 Pt. stop loss. Set MM=True, Manual Lot size=False, use the low, medium or high risk settings.

Just remember that the risk % is calculated for Each trade.

So, 10% Risk X 3 Trades =30% Risk. Maybe a little steep...

We've seen this several times - click on the Tokyo-V12 attachment & IE offers to save the file as "attachment.php"

Click on the paper clip on every page of the forum, find the latest version of the attachment you're looking for - click on it there & it should work.

You can also Right-Click -> Save target as...

If all else fails, let us know & we will email the file to you.

Nah, if you run the 1 & 2 order set, everybody in Tokyo has to get up earlier, that's all. Really pisses them off, so I don't do it very often...

Been running v13 since yesterday @20:00 (or so) Pacific Time Zone.

IBFX Demo.

No trades open at this time and none have been closed.

EA is running on a system that is on 24/7 just to test the EA.

Are you using the default setting in h1? or using some other configuration?

Alpari UK - Trades Short triggered @ 1.50558 and 1.50542 1st TP hit @ 1.50338 then TSL hit @ 1.50503

i am testing the EA on 2009 and 2010 and the results are good
but in 2008 the results are not good
can any one help me what was different in 2008 that make the bad results

I thought they were both sloping down when I looked last night?

Here is my set file if it helps...should be default apart from money management.

Edit: ok can't attach as doesn't like zipx files. But it's the default settings just using non-default money management. Anyone else confirm whether a trade should have been taken last night?

Losing trades. Now that you have gone live you should think about changing your name. Positive thinking and all. Just my thought. HA HA.

V14 has some small changes which will hopefully fix the "order modify too soon"
problems that lead to trailing stops not getting modified.

If you want to see the H1 SMA's on your M5 chart you can use the following:

For H1 10 SMA on M5 use 120 SMA
For H1 16 SMA on M5 use 192 SMA
For H1 197 SMA on M5 use 2364 SMA
