Isn't Oanda a Dealing desk?

Buying time for themselves perhaps, the drop on the 1M that pushed through 1.22 probably was a big larger then expected.

the best thing that happen to a man is for you to wakeup in the morning and see green in your account history,yesteday night i was trying to give some kind of signal on eurusd but in relationship with gbpusd and audusd.i said the sell in gbpusd and audusd will put more presure on eurusd and that is what we saw this morning..eur as really put lot of pips in my pocket since last two weeks...and waiting for a little retracement to sell more.

I share a similar fate. I misanalyzed the effect of his QE policy in 2009 which wiped out most of my gains from 2007 and 2008. I made (what I consider) a fortune betting on a housing decline, only to lose most of it with all of the liquidity that BB dropped from helicopters. I expected QE to have similar results as it did in Japan and paid the price for that.
He's also turned the stock market into a rigged casino, where HFTs rule. One of these days, we're going to see a plunge similar to 1987 because there's a lot of air behind the climb from March 2009. His QE policy has also caused an artificial rise in commodity prices due to all of the QE money that's flowed into a finite trade.

On the bright side, I've capital loss writeoffs up the wazoo that I can carry forward.
