Not sure what you are talking about. I guess if you are referring to industrial traders-trend is their main indy for one. And I'm all for that as well.

Hello, I'm a newbie in forex, and Forex Factory forums. English isn't my native language. So i'm sorry for mistakes.

Dude, brokers do not create indicators. And indicators are based on math's formulas, so there is no indicator which could be perfect in all cases. Be aware of this : )

They're not a scam, most people just go in believing that it's a good idea to blindly short because the stochastics crossed 80 . Blame the workman, not the tools.

Exactly, the more you know about trading, behavior of price, and behavior of indi's, the better your results will be. You can't blindly take every signal you get thrown. My set up definitely keeps me from getting on the wrong side of strong moves, and gets me on the right side of them. Avoiding headfakes, beartraps, and other tricks is the rest of the battle.

Some people put their hard earned money into trading and there isn't much help for them to start with other than indicators. don't throw the rock at the workman. I understand there is a price to pay to learn but trading is like swimming the Amazon. Everyone is not suitably prepared to face the anaconda.

Just my opinion, but if this is all a retail trader can achieve, they're either barely skilled or they're wasting their skill by being so convervative. Then again, we all have different needs.
My point is if you plan on quitting your day job by trading with the help of indicators think again...you'll get eaten up fast by pro traders.
