My 2 order version only have first order closed
second still running..
Cable just about 20 pips above entry, that's enough to close 1 st order..
sky...using v12...3 orders, but small tp's...10, 15, 20
I would suggest thatI used it in demo for quite a while and was easily convinced that this is the real deal

have you gone live yet?...i have been trading demo for 2 weeks, but with different versions. only one week or so with v12.

Ohh, I see..
this ea is certainly to my liking...thanks to geoff and piptician. u guys are great.
sky...i like to get in and get out of trades fast. when I linger, I lose.
I prefer higher lots, small pips.
when i go live, i will use 0.1 to start and work my way to 1.0...if I can get 35 pips 3 or 4 times per week (ea doesn't trade every day), then i am in the money
Yes, I went live about a week ago with Tokyo V12. I ran the back test and it performed as well as v9, so I started to use. I run it on FXCM UK and the results are the same as Alpari UK.

Sky, like most of us, has learned "the hard way" that forex is unforgiving and
when he jumps on someone for overtrading he is, no doubt, remembering his
own mistakes in the past.
Many people have said to me that 140 stoploss per order is too high, why
can't they use say 50 instead, well all I can say is that the stoploss was
arrived at by long tedious testing and optimising to give the "best" result.
A stoploss of 140 is essential to get the results that we are getting and, if
anyone is not comfortable to lose 120, 280 or 420 pips (1, 2...

I used v12 (3 order set) first time today w/ Alpari US and made 3 winners.
3 Buys at 1.5038 and all 3 hit SL at 1.5048.
Question: Is this normal?
Either way, profit today. Hope this will continue for the next month of forward testing..
Also, does any1 know the time offset for ActivTrades and Prime4x? I am not sure how to figure it out.

IBFX three winners: 21 + 14 + 4 = 39
Inquisitor, did you use 0 or -3?
The reason I ask is in my backtesting, using the 0 offset for GMT results in crap testing, but using -3 as a GMT offset results in much better results.
