I am going through this thread with alot of interest. Seems like it could be a winner.
I have a few questions/issues that I am scratching my head on. I don't know EA's very well and have been manually trading - and losing badly
- so I think that taking the 'me' out of my FOREX equation certainly cant hurt at this point...
I use Interbank FX and am using this on a demo account
On to the questions:
#1 -should the EA show only the Tokyo open?
#2 -anyone have an idea why the frown? [EDIT: figured it out - the live trading was not checked...duh]
#3 - anyone have an idea why the EA would be gray?
Backtesting:
In backtesting I used this date range:
1 Jan 2009 to 25 Jun 2010
The results were not a loss, but very flat for 18 months:
+449 Gross profit and -240 Gross loss
The chart for this test:
results details:
EA settings that I changed (1.0 lot and GMT to 0)
If anyone can assist me in getting this ironed out that would be awesome!

I don't know EA's very well and have been manually trading - and losing badly
long way to go to get 50/50 or little better odds long term.. 95% of the traders are losing money on FOREX..
And everyone thinks that he/she might be belongs those lucky 5%, who
actually wins (sometimes).. You should trade DEMO for as long as need
it to feel comfortable.. Maybe it would take 1 year, maybe more, maybe forever,
depends on individual.
Forex it's a worse/riskier investment possible..I'd love to hear Forex
millionaires stories.. None of them I heard so far, for long time, but
saw bunch of broken people left in dust... Stay alert and don't bet
more than 0.05$ - 0.10$ per pip, - seriously.
P.S
Believe it or not with 10k DEMO account (for new setups play/testing) last 3 days I didn't trade much, but take few positions
and Add some dips, just cashed 10% in 3 days, while watching screen maybe for 30 minutes in total..
And If I just trade and watch screen for 24/7
I'd probably lose as much... More often you going to trade, more you going to lose.. that's seems
totally logical at this point..

You can set TokyoOpenTime to any value in the settings!
My broker is IBFX who uses GMT I hve offset to ( 0 ).
Does changing the open time change the way the EA works.
