euro went up as markets were down today.. something isnt right. the chart posted shows whats gone on in the market. china markets have been dropping in the last few months too. so being careful is a must. they may bounce off the bottom. but other then what the charts say... coshing ok. storage oil is full.. and baltic dry shipping is down.. down from crippled levels of last year this time. so it may get bumpy... sitting on the side is not bad sometimes

... not a very Schiffian comment; he's been a USD bear for a loooong time (since ~2006). One of these days, Schiff will be right, but in the near term, the fundamentals point to a stronger USD.

I disagree with it being the ECB; it's in the Eurozone's best interest to devalue their currency. My guess is that the Chinese Central Bank's selling USD and buying EUR.
Probably not SNB intervention; the EURCHF showed decent gains in parallel with EURUSD, but not like I've seen in the past. ... and the SNB is loaded to the gills with EUR from previous attempts at trying to hold the line at 1.46, 1.43, and finally 1.40 before throwing in the towel.

gator I know you don't agree with my method, but to me it looks like the dog just bit us. time will tell but I do agree that a bounce off the bottom is likely.

I called that run up to a tee, with a target of 1.2250 and and entry at 1.23. Price made a nice move near 1.2330, then dropped like a rock back to my original entry point ... enough to tell me momentum wasn't there so I closed at BE (+3pips gain actually). Next candle makes a move for higher highs. Decided no to place another entry and have been siting on the sidelines all day. Price action wasn't adding up to what other pairs were doing.

With news skimpy and price finicky, I doubt tomorrow we'll see some strong moves. I'm anticipating and upwards range.

Watch out for that fat upTL on H1 (now our BearFlag)

2260 will be under this TL, so your target will only get reached, if the TL breaks.

wouldn't necessarily call it "minor" ... carefully check that number and maybe 10pips either side of it on a 15m up to Daily chart...

look any different now?

i know is a strong price region but becos i want to take it out of my way that is why i called it minor surport.....

i guess alls fair in love and war. the guys who plotted this from charts are wrong. the guys with a crystal ball and knew intervention was gonna happen there, took this one. it happens. but to believe intervention is on your charts before it happens is a fantasy. but alls fair in love and war. they should pat their backs. i was lucky enough to exit before. but it was luck. nothing more for me.
