Very good experience to learn this time from this pair:

Trend is down, Divergence everywhere, European stocks are negative, dow is down, S&P 500 is down, Problems remain with greece, spain..etc. Fed maintain its rate, USD/JPY is down. Financial catastroph in and outside Europe, and with all that, EUR is going higher! The only technical explanation i found is that retrace did not touch 50%. Usually, it should be confirmed by at least three or four other indications to see the long. Here, i can say that there is something strange is happening. Nice...

That all depends on what TF one trades, a H4 and daily trader would see this as a great opportunity to stock up. An M5 trader would probably take his profit, an M30/H1 trader would watch how 2352 holds. You can't project your expectations on other traders without knowing their strategy. A scalper, has long been and gone. An HFT would have shorted the top about 1,000 times by now.

We sold EUR USD at 12265. Partly for a 12035 target, and another part for 12165. Stop is at 12335 and 12355.
We just saw two sell signals, hence the double position.

Speaking in Macro terms, I believe that Euro is to depreciate if they want to survive in long term. I'm in inter month trades and a small retracement from 1.19 to now isn't something I would worry just yet. If this rally goes up to lets say like 1.30 or higher, I would need to reconsider the entire strategy and consider a change in sentiment but if that really happens "unless someone miraculously wiped out the bad debts that EU has" then I see a death of euro in the near future....

Given that said, I had hedged my position to protect my earnings,...

Apart from the fact that it is fundamentally idiotic for it to go up, it just does not seem enthusiastic to go up. It is behaving as though it wants to consolidate and gradually drift down.

I just do not see this as a move upward, although to be honest right now I am not sure of very much.

I agree. I don't see bull at all. The first indication for me to go higher is going through 1.2410 before this hour close. Then going higher with no pullback lower then 1.2410 to cross 1.2510. It will be stopped at 1.2530 level, then the pullback shoud not go down less then 1.24 maximum. Here, the bull is taking command and could expect 1.34. But, i do not see that at all, before touching 1.185 or 1.16. Pair Interesting to follow.
