If you refer to xe.com, their weekend rates are just bullsh1t, sorry.

edit: I have to apologize, Oanda shows rates as well. But xe.com is not trustworthy within the weekend... Sorry again.

Hi there!
What your opinion is bases on?
Did u see any news saying US is going to print more money. If u did so can u tell de source and where it happened?
If this is true than bullish movement is expected. Do u think we ca see again PA on the 1,40?

Still the momentum is up now, we might see a stabilization this week before a new pop up. . Euro/USD is bullish, US Dollar is struggling hard. There is no good news in the US. The only thing coming is printing money and printing money. This is not sustainable and far worse than the situation in Europe. Watch your back when the USD$ loses 5%,10% and + intraday. It will happen one day before you get your eyes opened.

For those who owns a lot of USD and even other currencies, buy gold and silver to protect yourself !

Yes. I just have a tp at 1.2450 but lifted this up to 1.2490 now. Looks like some kind of short squeeze. I still expect the Euro to reach 1.27-30 within this month with a nice drop after that. Some kind of a bull trap so to say.

If your broker closed at 78 he just closed too early. The saxo close is the real one, same is true for the opening. You will see that there are no gaps. Gaps in the Forex market are a common myth.
Ignored
False.

Gaps happen almost every weekend.

Who trades on the weekends anyway? ( The spreads are rather large. )

How many retail brokers allow you to do so.

Gaps happen and it is a very profitable trading method.

If you want the exact % over the past 2 years where the gaps are filled....it's over 90!

Of the less than 5% that do not fill the gap, they will make moves towards the gap but not neccasairly fill them.

I cant trade on the weekends so therefor I call it a gap.

Interesting news from China, definitely. Combine this with some other rumors and...

*L* if china unpins currency it will increase u.s. employment. it will also lower trade deficit (us verses china) therefore increases usd value to other currencies . to many variables to give a definite answer to what will happen. china could purposely raise their currency and stockpile commodities at the lower price. and stockpile finished product shelf's. then latter lower their currency to empty the shelves. and at the same time lesson their bubble. like they are doing now..
what the u.s. and ez should do it play chinas game. . and pin the usd and euro to their currency. and beat china at it own game. u.s. and Europe suffer because of the china syndrome. all Chinese product are subsidized by the Chinese government to destroy western economies. we allow it cause they buy bonds. its almost the same ponzi scheme ecb is playing with ez bank debt. when the fan hits the shit it will be bad.

Wrong. Gaps can't happen in the Forex market. I have no gaps at Oanda. It opens on Sunday where it did close on Friday. If your price feed shows a gap you should think of a new broker. Most MT4 bucket shops open too late and close too early.

you missed the red line point.. it where we bounced. it does not say its bounce will stop or completely reverse. i do expect it to test again since in went above a few pips. the fibs posted on usdx stopped it to the 1/10 of a pip.. "it may not is always an open option" but you dont have the signs of no more then a bounce.. so far. keep fridays lines on your chart and you will be rewarded.

Right. Thanks. I rarely watch the Sunday open. The weekend spread is usually 10 pips so I wonder why they raise it to 20... Well, well...

Who trades on the weekends?

Slight volume, traders who have had a bad week and are trying to make it up. (dumb momey )

Do you realy think the big money is going to take those kind of spreads?

I doubt it un less something big happens over the weekend.

No, of course no big guys really "trade" then. But that's not the point. There is simply no gap. But of course one could take this Sunday opening (or the Sunday candle) as some kind of a gap. So maybe it's just a question of definition.

And let me add that only if no speculative trades are placed it doesn't mean that there isn't any money exchange running between banks. There are more players than just traders.
