I know we are looking at brokers... have we looked to see if there is any consistency about profitable vs losing days?

Maybe Sunday and Monday... not so good??? Don't know

I think it is probably too early to say, on forward testing, which days are better and on back-testing
I don't see any days being better than others.

The strategy just seems to keep on working regardless!

Just did some investigating and they use Gallant Partners Hosting for their VPS arrangement. These are also the same guys behind GallantFX, a commission-based "ECN".

yr EA seem very interesting.i have a question here,if i am currently using avafx as my broker and iam staying in malaysia,what should i set in GMT offset,is it 8?and how about start time?is it using 23? it is appreciate if you can help in this,thanks and happy trading

1. Find out from your broker what GMT shift it is using.
2. Tokyo always open at GMT +0. EA starts at 1 hour before Tokyo open. So 23 is correct.
3. If your broker's GMT offset is +1 (+2), then you enter 1 (2) in the GMT offset. Then choose 00:00 (01:00) as start time.

When you get disconnected then any EA that trails stops will temporarily stop trailing those stops and stop doing anything else for that matter. As soon as you get reconnected again then the trailing stops will catch up with what has happened while you have been disconnected. Obviously if you have been disconnected for a while the worst that *should* happen is your TSL before you got disconnected will get hit.

That's as it should be and as I have known for some time. And I appreciate you taking the time and effort to answer. In my case, the TSL didn't catch the trade. and I don't know why. My computer was on and I don't know whether Alpari had a disconnect or not but I did not and, if they did, it wouldn't have affected that trade. To the best of my knowledge. But I could be wrong.....many times I am.

If you were using Tokyo with the 1 order setup then there is an issue with the TSL not working at all (regardless of connection issues). This issue will be fixed in the next few days.

If you look in the Tokyo settings for OrderRetryMillisecondDelay and change it to 5000 i.e. 5 seconds that should do the trick.

The reason Tokyo outputs more messages in the log is becuase it has been designed to do that to help you identify issues and resolve them. The other EA versions prior to Tokyo just carried on regardless or output some obscure message number.

I have no trades tonight at Forex.com, but all others have. Maybe because my GMT offset was +1, but Forex.com use GMT +0.
Start hour was set at 23. EA has smile face and NO errors reported.

Do you think could be the problem? I realy want to figure out why
there was no trades.
