Forex.com are UK based but forexvps.com are US based, I don't think you
will find a UK based vps for $35, more like £200 rip-off!

Something to remember when you use a small, low cost vps is, you will probably only be able to use
one or two EA's before you run out of resources and keep the number
of indicators to the absolute minimum, zero is best!

exactly, what the reason to place 'em below the longs? if market goes down and hit sl? to win a couple of pips?
i would rather move the buy stop down with the High[1,2,3] + FollowStep to catch the start of retracement and get into play in the lowest point. but better idea is to wait for market to return to the original open price coz we have to test this price for its reliability, and if strong move occurs, 5-6 pips to buy stop is nothing and particularly for GU

For those with FXDD if you put these files in your template folder I think the account history feature may work..... or you have to find an older version of fxdd mt4. If you download the version from their website it has the account history locked out. I guess it is some kind of NFA deal.

I live in the US and my government thinks I'm too stupid to run my own financial affairs and must protect me, no hedging, no account history reports. But who has the debt over 12 - 13 trillion dollars.....

Well it's easy to say, but how this going to work in reality.. If you want to

BUY STOP higher than it's should be higher at least 10-15 pips each

then you might don't have enough room for profit and no guarantee

after hitting them price won't head lower.. I rather BUY LOW then BUY

higher.. Let's say 3 orders 1 triggered next buy limit

15 (adjusted) pips lower and another one 30 pips lower.. and SL the

same for all I mean original SL means for 2nd 140-15 and for third

140-30, That's how I see it.. 30 pips just an example.. I think most

drops I see so far been limited mostly to 30-50 pips.. So orders could

be 15-20 pips a part.. And TP on them should be original so we

potentially can have those as EXTRA 15-20/30-40 (for third)

profit.. That's what I'd like to see.

Well, don't be sorry. I, for one, enjoy seeing the pip count. Sky likes all the technical stuff, that's fine too, but some of us enjoy knowing how everyone is doing. I had +36 pips last night on V4a live - FXDD. I am not looking to improve the EA as Sky states.

Sky, i understand your logic, but my question is still on - if you have a March 23rd case, no matter what you will do, but if order is placed lower then entry point, you will anyway catch a sl (unless have a special emergency close option). since v9 averagely makes 2-3 trades a week, to reimburse the sl amount will take a couple months.

my idea is the only one alive here, just believe me. :nerd:
i developed a system for one russian guy with a martin-like coverage started from 7 + orders, and it's still not profitable if you get against the trend.

While FOREX.com UK is UK "based" for legal purposes, their server still resides in New York City. In order to have low latency, you will want a NYC based VPS. I use CNS and have absolutely no complaints. They are a little bit more expensive, but IMHO you get what you pay for in this business.

Sasha, that part I completely agree. My point is: so far I don't see

how to avoid loss completely, but I do see how we can perhaps maximize profits

but taking some of the trades LOWER.. This alone worth some

small modification.. just make those entries in spread of

defined pips, which could be 0 (as they are now), Just additional OPTION, if Zero then

it trades as is now, if spread between entrees defined then orders triggered accordingly, that's all it needs..

How much modification we are talking about here? Thanks.

Aren't we trying to find out which brokers are consistently profitable with this EA and which are less so? Seems to me that's an extremely important aspect of the entire effort here. I follow with interest daily posts of pip profit/loss/no trades for the various brokers being used.

I did the party line VPS with JadeFX before and didn't care for it one bit. That being said, I am tempted to give it a try for at least one live terminal (I run three), as cutting costs is never a bad thing.

Latency from CNS to the FOREX.com server is 5 ms, so I have been happy with that. On site would cut it to approximately 1 ms, which may or may not make a difference to my scalping programs.

Ah, I don't know if the Forex.com offer uses their own servers or a third party vps arrangement!
