Yeah - I had TOKYO with set1 loaded on a live Alpari UK account last night. It opened a buy order at 23:45 GMT. When I woke up this morning the trade was in green pips BUT according to the trailing stop of 9 I believe it should have closed out by now with a profit. I checked the expert log and no errors. Looks like the trailing stop didn't work. Might be something to look into as the trailing stop is really important. I have now manually moved the SL to BE and it's going up. I have attached a chart to show what I mean.

P.S - I know the EA is turned off - I did that after I manually changed it!!

You can just load the one that you want to use!

The trailing stop is managed by the EA so if you lose your connection for
any reason the TSL will not work!

Thanks jimmy. The night before last on #1 the TSL didn't kick in either and the trade hit SL 120. Last night it didn't take a trade.

Yeah - I checked the logs and I didn't lose my connection though!?? That is what I don't understand. Just thought I should let you know.

As you and I both know Alpari UK demo's have an ongoing problem with disconnecting. Several times a day sometimes. Does that mean we can't trust the TSL on any of the Alpari UK trades? Demo or live?
I also have used vps' and they have disconnects from time to time as well. Rarely, but it does happen. What good is a trailing stop? Are all trailing stops placed on a computer subject to the computer?
I know it's a lot of questions.

Geoff,

Can you please ask to look at the third order for three orders? The third order was stopped out for +42 instead of +10. I mean it is good if stopped out for more pips but shouldn't the third order has no TSL?

Thanks Geoff, and many thanks for the EA - it's great to just set it before bed and wake up to a few more pips (living in the UK).
By the way Sammy - did you have the Reconnect EA on another chart? I did. I have used the Reconnect with other EA's and it has worked fine. I just noticed that you had used that before and had problems.

TP1 +22
TP2 +50
open23:50 GMT
close 3:18 and 3:41 GMT
TSL perfect
seems OK for 2 orders

Trailing stops are ok, there is an issue with the TOKYO 1 order setup!

I don't use the reconnect ea. I had problemw with the Alpari UK platform with it. Wish I could!!
