I do not see any problem with cut-paste if the source is mentioned and when it is on the EUR/USD subject. Otherwise it is just indeed looking bogus

nah man, basically what he's sayin is..we gotta just get rid of the person ourselves by making them feel unwelcome. the hard part is getting everyone to agree..

I mean if every person here told me they were gonna put me on ignore, I'd probably just roll...lol

There are some though in this forum that literally do not have one post other than copy/pasted info..one will post tonight I'll bet..he spams every interactive thread it seems once per day..

AJ 4 hour look like a bear flag (Heads up for Tonyo to keep an eye on as I know he is on the aud pairs)

yea i see what ur sayin.....im just gettin tired of seeing trolls just throw some news up there like they wrote it....its bascially spamming the thread. I guess im gonna start calling people out on this......

theres a big difference between posting relevant news and giving credit to the source, and TROLLING in here and throwing shit on the walls like a monkey. There is a news section to forex factory, and if you wanna do this go there.....Its basically spamming this thread.

Hi everyone, earlier on in this discussion thread the top end PC was discussed, I just upgraded myself and this unit is pretty good, I got

I7 - 930 chip
6 Gig 1600 MHZ RAM
64 Gig solid state drive
Nvidia 295 graphics card

Now this unit boots up and is ready to work withing 30 seconds, and multi tasks everything flawlessly.

So in summary, I recommend spending the money on the fast memory and the solid state drive, this is where the speed is gained, not so much from the CPU these days.

and finally, you know what a pain it is to follow a bracketed market (sideways), tracking this to an opportunity requires frequent views, now to be chained to your desk etc is annoying, what Im working on is setting up the apple iPad with wireless and 3g that can view and manage the main PC with the charts etc on it via a citrix connection, Im hoping that this will give me a truly mobile solution and as the citrix xenapp connection is a thin client as such, the data charges should be far less than streaming the chart application directly to the iPad, I will test and let you all know how it works, maybe some true freedom and mobility can be achieved with this idea.

Rising interest rates have driven up costs of home ownership, subduing Australian retail sales in year ending June 30 but recent surge in jobs growth is likely to underpin sales in coming year, Access Economics says in its latest retail forecast. Expects inflation-adjusted real retail sales to grow 2.3% in fiscal 2009-10, rebounding to 3.2% in fiscal 2010-11, 3.7% in fiscal 2011-12. "All up, we expect retail sales to move to a stronger footing through the course of 2010. It's still likely to be a tough year but strong jobs growth and house building momentum suggest that 2011 could be a robust year for retail sales," Access director David Rumbens says.

trailing stops were hit on my longs, still holding shorts.

No, I don't think so. In my past correspondance with him over this, there's two things....

First is they're simply too busy doing Real Work to spend time they don't have policing the the forum for this kind of crap and that's actually why they really do entrust that function to the community that finds FF worthwhile and contributes accordingly.

If "we" are willing to put up with it, the mod team generally stays out of things unless and until the cleanup button alerts them otherwise, or they catch flagrant no-brainer violations on their own of the Big Three baseline rules.

That may be oversimplifying things but I do believe it's fairly close. Over reporting of some "offenses" like this copyright issue that require documentation or "proof" to enforce would simply increase their workload.

Remember the few active and unmoderated (no active thread starter)major threads are the ONLY places disruptive crap can go on unchallenged for so long cuz they'd quickly get booted by the active thread owners otherwise. This EU thread went South along time ago along with the Auslanco and Cable threads and now just goes thru various cycles of Ups and Downs... crops of posters come and go according to their reasons to be here.

The second thing is FF mods will happily remove "copyrighted infringement" posts and take whatever disiplinary action they can if and ONLY if the original and rightful owners complain and request they do so.

There's some convoluted reason for that but that's the way it is and I've found most authors who're busy on other sites seem to place a lower priority for that sort of thing but I do have personal emails from a few that were very appreciative for the heads up and followed thru accordingly...

Like I said earlier, and like Twee originally said in his moderation philosophy post, the most effective thing the Room has available to it is simple Peer Pressure... we'll have the sort of Room we're ultimately willing to put up with.
