Immediate range aprox. something between 1.2069 area and 1.2035 / 29 on the downside at first. As I do not expect big things from here. A downside retrace I would like to suppose...

Calculation on a weekly basis show me a certain possibility - that we are in a status or situation - that can be described with the PAROLE Emil "prior to an end of trend potential - imminent end of bearish move potential".

Why ? Well - we have seen an important Elliott key being hit near two reversal points at 1.1861 and 1.1822 zone.


Weekly downside potential is weakening now...

Hi to all,

Seems some market conditions changed and EU broke already some resistances and took north. My short was closed at 75 pips lost. Not catastrophic and could be easily replaced by a good trades, but one day i'll become a full time trader, and i'll never have this mistake again. Waiting for that day, i open a short at 1.2044 and put SL immediately after 8 pips at Entry point. Rejected. Waiting for an other pivotal point.

Studying S&P 500, it seems to go higher. It passed through 1074.27 and finding support on it. Not good for immediate short.
1078.84 is 23.6% of the whole descent from 1216.50. I'll wait for that level to retest entry on EU which could mean 1.2085/ 1.2134 level, depends on how EU will act.

Technicals: indicate reversal/correction
Fundamentals: data showing recovery and US will be on hold to raise rates for a longer period
Sentiment: appetite for risk is taking shape

Not so difficult to digest:

1635 GMT [Do.. Jo...] With EUR/USD having fallen more than 16% since start of 2010, pair cannot yet be considered "cheap on an absolute basis," says foreign exchange committee of Deutsche Bank's Private Wealth Management group. "We estimate purchasing power parity against USD at around 1.15-1.20, i.e. near current levels," the analysts say. Wed afternoon, EUR/USD was at 1.2045 from 1.1952 late Tue, according to EBS via CQG. "Moreover there is a historical memory that the common currency started life around 1.18. Hence it is around fair value, in our view. We believe the market would need a good reason to take it lower into 'cheap' territory," they say. Possible reasons include fall in stocks, or an "unpleasant surprise" about a country's debt. Deutsche's private wealth division calls for EUR/USD at 1.20 in three months and 1.10 in 12 months.
