Simple H1 GBPUSD EA

I've got a trade on #1 or v4 still on the board. Was in + but now is-.

Good morning all,

No trade on TOKYO_ for me last night, Sell trade triggered on v4 s/l hit for +22 pips, all on Alpari UK demo

I used Toyko #1 and got a sell, still on the board. Live. Alpari UK.

#2 did not trade, #3 did not trade for me.

I am watching 17 (!) brokers (only demos: 4 digits, 5 digits MM and ECN and so on) with the "TOKYO" EA - the only one broker with trade opening was IBFX - 2 longs, 2 winning trades. Nothing with FXDD, Alpari and all we others.

with sma16, the drawdown exist.

But we can check divergence in between, sma16 Vs sma10, maybe.

What do u think about that ?

Well, then this is not MT4 then, or broker edit type of MT4 which

doesn't have those options, pick other broker for Demo..

I don't know, man, by your own Indicator: NO trades today.

How v9 could trigger trade?

Been a little while since i've been here. How's the EA been performing of late?
Just noticed there's another new one.

197 was in 1 point up, 10 much more. M15 fractal was formed by 20:45 and M5 by 23:00. so finally i am in profit

It didn't look like it was going to make it but, I had a buy trade last night on a live account with IBFX v9. +24, +14

My sell on Tokyo#1 ( v4a) hit SL. Alpari UK live.

It should have made a profit, mine made +22!

I haven't had an order triggered yet on FXDD demo (+3). I have had time to play around with some of the variables. Not to curve fit it for this year but to find the sweet spot in the numbers and lower my risk. A week ago I posted about using 3 different lower stop losses and that seemed to smooth the results. However, nobody wants to believe we can have a loss, but it will happen.

This is what I have found with my testing from 1/1 - 5/31. I'm not trying to overthrow the thread just passing on some information.

SL - 90 - tested a bunch here and found that a stop of 80-115 resulted in about the same results. So I didn't pick the best result just a result in the core of the numbers.

iTrailing - 30 - tests here showed that higher trailing stops did not really give the ea room to move even when I raised TP3 to very high.

TP1 - 25 - showed about the same results as 22 but was more in the middle of the optimization curve.

TP3 - 100 - this gave iTrailing a little room to move and was more in the middle of the optimization band.

FAST SMA - 15 - moved from 10...why because the results of 7,8,11,12 were not that great. So I found a band 13-18 I think and picked the sweet spot to build in a little wiggle room.

Slow SMA - see the bottom, just doing it now.

All in all,
fast - 15
slow - 197 - will test later
SL - 90
iTrailing - 30
TP1, TP2, TP3 - 25, 50, 100

original - with 10/197 sma +1234.53 105 trades 99W 6L
15/197 sma +1171.53 less profit but safer
15/197 sma SL 90 + 1509 126 trades 114W 12L
15/197 sms SL90 itrailing 30 +1889.53 same amount of trades just more profit off of trailing
TP3 high with same setting with +1869 - no improvement, was hoping for some longer runs without pullbacks.
TP1 25 from 22 +2003.53 same amount of trades and wins losses
TP3 100 same settings +1978.53 same wins losses
So 15/197 sma TP 25, 50, 100 SL 90 iTrail 30 = +1978.53 114W 12L

Slow SMA..
Okay I thought I was done but wanted to tweak this and see. Interesting results all using my above settings.
Slow SMA from 100 - 250 made money. Pass 1 is 100 and they increase by 5 each pass. So pass 20 was 195. Look at the differences between 17-21. It looks like 18,19,20 are a little better. Again, not curve fitting but trying to find a good grouping so we don't use 197 and it winds and 198 and we lose

Okay Slow SMA 180-200. I place a different screenshot so you could see the slow sma values and not have to count. Interesting, again they all make money but we do have some peaks and valleys. Look at 197 and 198 big drop off and 199 even more. 184-187 has a peak as well. I kind of like 190. It is safe, less performance than numbers around it but has room on either side as a fudge factor. If we were just fitting it show the best results we would use 196.



Final analysis...
So 15/190 sma TP 25, 50, 100 SL 90 iTrail 30
+1744.53 120 Trades - 108W 12L
Drawdown 755 pips (6.72%) March 22 - April 2
Worst Loss 270 pips (4 times)

it's some day that i didn't controll this thread... i see that the simple is became "tokyo"...

i have tested in back test and seems similar to the other like result.

at now i have the old simple v9 running live on alpari, do you suggest to upgrade with this new version? if it was named v10 i have no doubt thinking that it's only an update, but i don't know if the code of this version is similar (and reliable ) like the other.

This new version is a big improvement over the old code, it has been re-written
to get rid of the old problems with error messages and is much safer!
