Both the GBPUSD and CANUSD look like two porcupines mating! I tried trading some of the wicks for 4-5 pips but just couldn't get into the rhythm and kept getting stopped out for more than what I made. I'm done trading for the day and have fired up the simulator. Hope you guys are having better luck.

The most successful trade for the last month. Trend reversing, round number retest. +40 pips - daily target, done for today.

Nice job guys! For those that are done for the day, you can practice on demo the approaching touches of M15 10 or M5 35/50. The best of the two will be the one that may confluence with H1 10.

This is the M15 10 touch mentioned in my previous post (confluence with M5 35).
Target was H4 EMA 10.
Got +32pips so I will stop for today.

Here is one from this morning on GU:
1. Signal from M15 35/50
2. Confluence with H1 10
3. Nice pinbar-like bar on M5

Target was the previous M15 swing high (+29pips) [EDIT: I just realized that the target was also the Daily 10 EMA. No wonder that the price hesitated there twice].
In this trade you can see how higher TF dictates the action. H1 dictated M15 and I ignored M5 MAs (used M5 only for clues when to get in).

In my charts you can see the entry as a little blue arrow and the exit as a little orange arrow (dark blue line connects the two arrows). It is clearer on the M5 and M1 charts.

I just did not see that at all, or wasn't there anything to see. Really mad I missed that.
One trade so far today got stopped out. I'm gonna have to get back to the manual, I'm losing confidence in what Im looking at on the charts.

The only way you could have caught this GU move would be by playing the higher TFs. For example, touch of Daily EMA10 confluenced with H4 35. That bounce took more than 1hr to become strong (way more than how much I want to be in the market).
On the other hand, now we can play safely the M15 10, M15 35/50 and/or M5 35/50. For quicker trades even the M5 10 may offer a few pips.

The USDCAN has been a tough lady to dance with this morning. Seems to be dancing to her own beat instead of following "the rules."

I've been stopped out with losses of 8 and 10 pips and got stopped out at BE on another. I'm tired of getting my toes stepped on and have quit trying to dance with this partner until I can figure out the beat.

I don't have any experience with USDCAN. Why don't you try the good pairs in demo?

The GBPUSD is my "staple" pair and is always on my screen. As you know, this pair makes up the majority of examples in The Dance manual.

The USDCAN is one of my "swap-out" pairs. I also normally follow the EURJPY - the other pair in the Dance manual. However, when I can't make sense of the EURJPY (ie: no trend of the moment, porcupine pricing, etc), I'll "swap-out" the EURJPY for the USDCAN, or sometimes, the CHFJPY (based on Lee's comments).

I never have more than 2 pairs on my screen (arranged like in the manual) and when I actually decide to take a trade, I really, really, really try to trade only 1 pair at a time so I can stay focused on it. I have to be honest and say that I don't always do this and when I do actually have 2 trades in 2 different pairs, I almost always regret it (invariably one goes positive and the other negative).

I guess it's like hunting rabbits - the more you see run out the more shots you tend to take. However, unless you focus your attention on one and forget all the rest, you usually go home empty handed.

I don't mind posting a few losing trades for everyone to comment on, but my volume is considerably more than that!
