Oh there's a lot more in the new EA especially with the error handling, mine
was a bit hit and miss and produced strange error codes that made no sense.

My coding skill is "basic" and I use it to get things working but that is a worry
when other people are using it with real money, the new code is much more
professional and safer to use!

Hello..trying the new EA (tokyo)..

Use FXDD Live account (New York)...

GMT offset is set correctly at +3

BUT the red line showing the Japan opening is at 8:00pm EST... should be at 7:00pmEST??

Can you check you brokers GMT offset, if they are based in NY +3 seems a
bit strange!

Yeap, I should decide either use 2 orders with slightly higher lot

or 3 orders with lower

Is it possible to have some sort of audio alarm when EA opens a trade?
I didn't found such a option in MT4.

According to this thread, post #1, FXDD GMT offset should be set to +3.

I have used other EA's that automatically calculate this, and they too had+3.

I don't think my offset is wrong... I think the Japan start time is wrong

Maybe the author of this code didn't take into account daylight savings time???

Tokyo opens at 0:00 GMT all the year round so once the GMT offset is set
up correctly the EA will show the correct time.

It is the broker GMT offset that should take DST into account!

I'm not sure the lines are right. I am in the UK and using Alpari UK. I used the default setting (offset is 2) but the blue line for the London open is sitting on 10:00 broker time which is 9:00 UK time. I believe London market opens at 8 UK time which is now GMT+1 hence the line should appear at 9:00 on the chart.

Or have I got this completely wrong?

I do not know what time FXDD server is set to , however, IF FXDD server is set to New York east coast time then your offset is -4, until the next U.S. time change. (I use a NY server time myself, it is correct)

If you mentioned New York time because you live in that time zone it has no bearing on anything.

All that matters is what your Broker server is set to.

If you are using +3 then your server is 3 hours east (ahead) of GMT. Which would place it somewhere in central Europe or there abouts.. (just a guess)

When TP1 is reached the stoploss for TP2 is raised to BE and the stoploss
for TP3 is raised to 10, this is the setting you refer to, best to leave it!
