What caused the selloff on friday: 1. Hungary- default imminent.
2. French PM- Euro to parity
3. Rumours of Billions of Euro reserves being sold off by Iran.
4. US non-farm payroll data

So, was the sell off justified?

I am staying out of trading monday.
I don't think it is justified...all this seems to me that hedge funds who are short EUR/USD paid to Hungarian vice president and to Iranian press to release such informations in order to make profit on their trades....

June 6 (Reuters) - Iran's central bank chief denied reports over the country planning to sell 45 billion euros from the country's reserves to buy dollars and gold ingots, the Arman newspaper on Sunday quoted Mahmoud Bahmani as saying.
"Such reports are sheer lies and I strongly deny reports on Iran planning to convert 45 billion euros of its reserves to dollars and gold," Bahmani said.
On Wednesday, Iran's English language Press TV quoted a report in Jam-e Jam newspaper in which unnamed "reliable sources" said the decision had been taken in reaction to the euro zone crisis.

Just curious why 1.16 should be named 1.6 area and 1.22 just 1.22?

Is that hard to move that dot 1 point to the left and add additional

number? That's why many, if not all, Americans don't use turn signals

while driving, cause they simply too laze to make extra move + don't give

a sh* about anybody else on the road, besides themselves..

You should come to Uruguay some time.

They have never heard of turn signals here and I would shocked if I ever saw one used. In addition, they do not pay attention to lines on the road (must be some form of program to put people to work putting lines on roads because absolutely nobody pays any attention to them) or stop signs for that matter, which probably explains why the government never bothered putting any kind of sign up at most intersections, even in town. My driving is getting as bad as everyone else here--I no longer stop at the occasional stop sign, it is just an indication to slow down fractionally.

U.S. & British bankers have declared all out war on the Euro. Webster Tarpley has been covering this and mentioned yesterday the Financial Times of London Newspaper planting dis-info stories about China dropping the Euro (which China denied) to drive the price down.

China will never drop EUR. They will drop USD instead, because they

got stock in junky US treasuries up to their eyeballs. Those Treasuries

are marked as AAA, while their status should be Junk, cause in 15-30 years

( I'd say in 3-4 years tops) those will worth absolutely nothing. ZERO.

Right, there is some reason to it, I must agree.. when newb driver

turn signal before change the lane, nobody will let him in, so better

push Gas, make a move and turn signal when you almost there

P.S

I was betting on ECB, should they act on Friday, this drop could be avoided,

but now there is a talk that French prime minister actually enjoying those

exchange rates and he'll love to see 1:1, why not? Since they start

printing like US did long time ago their currency could get the same rate

1:1:1:1 USD:CAD:AUD:EUR
