ur right it could have gone either way. when in doubt, go with the trend. nfp was bs and all smart money knows where the stats come from. wait til next nfp...nothing is certain. we could always gap up but what's the stat on how often the gap closes? i do hope we test the bottom of that wedge again or get back up above 2300 one more time, it would stop me out on a couple of orders in profit but it would be a nice reload @ 2377 for me. i was actually scared of that wedge so I played it on shorter tf stuff and it ended up working out..the bear flag and pivot point plus gators 5 minute wedge/channel were confluent last night

I don't care.. Gator maybe good chartists, but have little understanding

of economics.. You have only 2 options to reduce US debt

1) Grow out of Debt, as we can see, that option is failing, cause

obviously US debt growing faster than US economy, and rising dollar

only cutting corporates profits which will hurt employment even further and adding

additional fuel to Absolute Total US Debt Value.

2) Devaluate currency by 15-20% and export out of Debt, boosting

exports, expand corporate profits, and cut Absolute value of Debt. (And that's what EZ doing right now!)

If you think, US Economy growing just fine, then I'm wrong, otherwise

Dollar will get devaluated pretty soon. Period.

Just watch.

Besides all those forever Shorts only Barking when EUR is down.. I don't hear them

too much over 1.23 few days back..

Today just another Friday.. Stocks will get bought back on Monday again..

Yes but the EU is in the same boat, but its grabbing all the headlines.
This is surely a case of the Euro beaing the worst of a bad bunch.

I've taken two shorts now off of the 38.2..first one was stopped out @ +spread..i originally shorted off of 8750 and closed @ 8200 after the initial BO out the 8750 level.

how will that happen?
when the eur is in problms/ I agree the usd is in issues
but they are less (at this time) then the euro.
money has to go somewhere from somewhere

strenght to weekness ? or weekness to strenght of coarse!
do you see the USD weeker then the falling apart euro nation?

this is what it boils down to for me..trade the chart, the chart says euro is in trouble and dollar is safe for now

edit: i took a short @ 2003..might be risky but small target for now

It appears to me that most of the people here are trading for at least few years. I'm just not sure why do you get so excited about today. It's just another 1st Friday of the month. I'm sorry i'm really not getting it.

Why does the GBP / USD move in the same pattern as the EUR /USD .

they have not got 16 member states dragging them down?

You are right BUT that will not happen Soon because next drop to US will be dead fall But again Not Now

DX going to 105 this my view And u can Book mark this for the record " Current DX 88"

So Far you see Europe the one who's trying to restructure things

and devaluating EUR ahead of USD, while US keep borrowing and spending

like nothing happens.. So, yes EUR goes down first then everything goes

upside down, and you'll see 2007 over and over again..

And hey, this is only View.. I'm not pinching nobody.. OK?

You think EUR goes to 0.8, good, just let's see how it will turned out

this us debt is and has been priced in for a very very long time.........if they would come out and say "we cant pay it" it would be a big problem, but you me and everyone else knows they will NEVER say this.

At the end of the day, nothing's certain and no trade is 100% win or lose.
The whole idea I thought, was to use MM along with a degree of savvy re tech and fundi (for what its worth) analysis to arrive at a trading plan that involves an acceptable R/R ratio.
From that point of view, you trade what/when you wanna trade, win AND lose. That's never gonna end the world as we know it.
You learn to handle it, and not be affected or freak out and worry about loosing, or whats the point in trading? I trade coz I like it...
I think its important to be aware of the risks more than the potential reward, but if you focus more on the losses, you will lose more often thru that fear becoming a reality...just so you can go thru the losing thing one more time, till you get over it.
Nobody doesnt lose sometimes.

Alright But I think by now even Shorts won't this back to 1.23

to short it again to 1.18, this make more sense for both sides

Sorry, but US is just barely surviving - the collapse of your country is inevitable.

p.s. patriotism is a good thing but people have to be realistic. American people have really to get ready for poor existence.
