Jiva, would you explain what you mean by "reattached eav8"? Did you have another version running and replaced it with v8?

Yes you got it $1500 x 3% = $45

140pip stop loss

1micro at 10c per pip on 140 pips = $14 loss

45 / 14 = 3.2 so 3 micro lots would be traded giving 3 x $14 loss = $42

Within your 3% and $45 limit

Could be confusing for trade executions though for mt4.
you can trade as many EAs as you like on the same currency pair as long as they have different magic numbers. The problem comes with global equity closure routines that are non-magic-specific.

BTW I see this thread and EA is doing very nicely. Glad the suggestion of the slower MA filter (197) has made a positive impact.

So you could run another EA that controls money management set to 3% of present account balance for example..or would it have to be bolted onto the EA your using to initiate your trade ?

Money management is built into the EA already.

In the settings change UseMoneyMgmt to true, select Med_Risk to true and
Manual_Lot_Size to false.

This will set the risk to 3% of equity!

no. I opened navigator clicked eav8 to attach to chart. activated live trading. just like I had a few hours earlier. Just did it fresh.
Actually I had eav8 running in 3 different demos too and the same thing happened there. I reattached the ea and the trade appeared right away. Maybe just coincidence and that the trade was going to be placed anyway...
????

Maybe this has been asked before but Why don't you open 1 position double the lot size and close 1/2 at first TP and let the other 1/2 run to 2nd TP as opposed to how it is done now You'd save on the spread for one position

If the demo accounts are on the same platform you need to make sure
that each one has a different magic number, otherwise they will interact!

when TP1 is reached move the second order SL to BE and let it run.
The SL is large at 140 per order but anything less gives more losing trades.

Guys anyone can help?.. I got EA managing a trade SL TP, Trailing stop,

Trailing step.. and so on.. The only 2 problems

#1) on 5 digit account Zero (0) should be added to each number in settings

#2) it's modifying every trade open on the account..

( I activate it on my account and sucker closed all my trades in profit

all of them in few seconds)

And it needs to be managing only trades from CURRENT CHART

(perhaps Magic Number needs to be added?)

Anyone could modify that? This would be great addition to trade

GEO EA manually, picking up much cleaner entries..

Like today, if BUY initiated and Cable is above Resistance 3, nearly 200 pips away

From the pivot.. Are you ready to go Long there?

P.S This is just a TOOL EA to work (in addition) with GEO's EA's, for those who'd like to get

much cleaner entries manually..

I don't know of any way to "partially" close lots.

Some brokers do this for manual lots but I don't know how an EA would do it!
