One thing for some newbies...

When you are going negative with your trade, do not LOSE and close it just hedge and select better time to open trade later.

Learn hedge and it helps you from blowing accounts.

would love to hedge, but it's not allowed by US brokers (mbt, in my case, they're great so far)

In last 8 months I never hedge and never put SL , TP "just mental"
And i have 2 lose trade.

Why i say so because trading like finger print everyone has his Own style.
You Test , Watch and Learn then decided by yourself

I can not see any benefit by hedging losing trade ,

there is no difference with closing the trede with loss.

If someone can prove any benefit , i would be appreciated.

No disrespect, but this is not good advice for a newbie. MM, SL, TP, 2%. That's what they need to know.

the price has bounced off its weekly support of 1.2109

took profit there

however buying now worries me as the trend is down

and its tuesday could hit its weekly resistance before a big sell next week?

Break event , when price moved in your favour say 12 pips in case of scalping you can place sl at the same price of the entry , 0 loss formula and also place at 1+pip level . So of price back as always price do move through zigzag ways you will have not any loss for the trade , a xero risk trade for any amounts of pips green can happen .

but what is expectable breathing space for your stoploss? before you go to break even ?
