Yesterday was US and GB holiday, so it was expected to see such volume and such moves the day after these holidays. as you know, US & GB manages 50% of the transactions, so their holiday make market sleep. but usually the day after, you'll see big moves ...

Hi there,

entring a trade need some experience, setting stoploss just needs your basic knowledge about the method, but setting targets are a very hard and chalenging and very important task. There are many tools to help you to take your profits, as there was mentioned many times before, you can use S&R , Fibonacci expansion , Trends, Volume, patterns, PA, Pivots, moving averages , etc. to take profit, but chosing between vast ammount of tools, is your job.

It is said that traders don't lose because their stoplosses hit, they loss because they can't manage their TPs good. they close their trades in small profit when market desires to give them more ...

In conclusion, there is no solid rule to set your tp in this thread, and I think It's the best way to keep it that way. As you see many traders use different methods to take TP. This is the hard part. And you need experiencing what you're more comfortable with.

"IF" is a very dangarous word. It keeps you in regret, makes your ego satisfied (because you blame your luck, not your skills), and make your account shrink in long run.

Learn the lesson and pass ... maybe this time your lesson was learn to manage trades better, partial closure, and etc.

It doesn't matter you say it here or have it in your mind ... If you don't get rid of "IF", sooner or later you'll become tired from this business.

Market will always be there ... get prepare for tomarrow ...

I totally understand... I know I would have let it run longer... however... meetings dont allow me to check computer... therefore had to close..

Had a profitable day so not complaining..

I trade at 5M timeframe, only using one pair.
This pair is very volataire so I think that limited profit for example 30 pips is good 4 me))
And 2-4 entry per day is perfect))
So this is variant of problem solution)

EU Watch:

M30- after a number of TFs where range was approx. 25 pips MOL, suddenly, on less than 1/3 normal trading the price just shot up 50 pips! This looks like they kept sell orders at near a given level for quite some time in order to coax others to lower their SLs on shorts, seeing as how the price seemed not to go higher. Then suddenly, after placing sell orders themselves way up there, they bought the price up to their higher sell orders and simultaneously took out all those vulnerable low stops on the short trades of others, creating the liquidity for their sell orders to be filled! Remember, trade counts (forex "volume") is just that, a count of trades, not the size of those trades. So, this fits. They quickly buy up the price on low trade count, which is also low size trades each. Then, when they get to their target high, their large sell order is triggered....it only takes one trade to do the trick up there, a single LARGE trade. So, all of this can be done on what looks to be low trading activity from start to finish.

........profitable Headfake/transfer of future wealth! ......IF it later moves lower.

Edit: (Second chart added, M30) Again, on light trading, the asian session 'profs' pumped it up even more, with trading increasing as the price rose and the highest trading at the highest prices! This was a SonicR tradeable long, but I think possibly the bigger trade is yet to come, and will be down after all the jockeying for position is finished. And again, this is pure speculation.

EU Watch:

Weekly Chart- The next FE level down is the 100% level, about 950 pips below current PA. If this is where it is headed, it is no wonder PA is getting pumped in each session by the 'profs' for position building......
