man if Germany or France get out of the € we can forget trading €$ as it will plunge to almost 0 they are the one who are holding the value up.

European traders anticipate the publication of the Producer Price Index on June 2nd. The PPI is an inflationary indicator that measures the average change in selling prices received by domestic producers of goods and services. The PPI measures price change from the perspective of the seller. The PPI looks at three areas of production: industry-based, commodity-based, and stage-of-processing-based companies. When producers pay more for goods and services, they are likely to pass the higher costs to the consumer, so PPI is thought to be a leading indicator of consumer inflation. A higher than expected reading should be taken as positive/bullish for the EUR, while a lower than expected reading should be taken as negative/bearish for the EUR. Analysts predict a future reading of 0.70%.

The Euro traded below the resistance specified in yesterday’s report 1.2333 for the whole 24 hours since the issuance of yesterday’s report. It did not break it, only to trade in a narrow range, which has postponed the drop but did not delete its possibility. We still believe that the Euro is ready to dive, and we still believe that the most important resistance is Fibonacci 61.8% at 1.2472! We do not see any reason to change our negative technical outlook for as long as the price is below it. And since that the price has touched the channel top, and came close to Fibonacci then it started to fall, then the negative outlook is still here, strongly! As for the short term the support is at 1.2244, and breaking it will drag the Euro to the important 1.2142 then to a new cycle low at 1.2068. The resistance is at 1.2312, and breaking it indicates a continuation of the rising correction which will target 1.2411 first, then its ideal target at 1.2472. It goes without saying that this is the single most important resistance for the time being, and the separating point between a continuation of the current downtrend, and a reversal to an uptrend! We still believe that the drop to a new cycle low below 1.2142 is only a matter of time, nothing will change that except for breaking 1.2472.

Support:
• 1.2244: Asian session low.
• 1.2142: This cycle’s and 4-year low.
• 1.2068: Apr 13th 2006 low, the last important support before the 1.2000 level.

Resistance:
• 1.2312: the top of the rising channel on the hourly & 4-hour charts.
• 1.2411: Fibonacci 50% for the drop from 1.2670.
• 1.2472: Fibonacci 61.8% for the drop from 1.2670.

France is broke..and Germany not far from it.. the banks are broke.. the politicians and media are lying. they both back up the broke banks that Greece ect. owe..

Now, for a long time many German economists held the € for over exaggerated. the opinion of these people is that the euro-zone (and of course for the German economy for the most part from the export) is a trade mark from 1.20 to 1.21 would be just right. if a country is a strong export economy no one can hope for a strong euro ...

so true, but could this be the answer to the global problem? don't forget the problem is inherently financial debt affecting budgets. there would be a race to set currency levels, at a stroke there will be devaluation across the board. disruption will be limited to a lost currency. US deficit will be cut to 50% at a stroke, and most other countries. Russia, china, saudia arabia will be left holding the can, they will be alright though as their reserves are so large, and the problem of banks balance sheet may be offset by currency valuation. there will be a lot of fallout and disruption. it won't be by design, but it could happen and solve everything at a stroke. not completely thought out, but speculation. wild maybe.

LONDON (Dow Jones)--Sixteen of the biggest banks in the foreign exchange industry are banding together to form a new representative body, they announced Tuesday.
The new organization, which aims to tackle risks in the structure of the business, is to be formed by the Association for Financial Markets in Europe, known as AFME.
"The AFME FX division will support efforts to promote an efficient global [foreign exchange] market, help develop market best practice, and monitor developments in public policy and regulation that could affect the [currencies] markets," AFME said in a statement, adding that it plans to have the body up and running at the end of the summer.
The banks involved account for around 85% of global flows in the market, the statement added.
They include all ten of the biggest banks in the industry, which are, in order: Deutsche Bank AG (DB), UBS AG (UBS), Barclays Capital (BARC.LN), Citigroup Inc (C), the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), JP Morgan (JPM), HSBC (HBC), Credit Suisse (CS), Goldman Sachs Inc (GS) and Morgan Stanley (MS).
"An efficiently-functioning foreign-exchange market is one of the cornerstones of the global economy and needs to play its part in supporting economic recovery and sustainable growth. AFME is pleased to be providing the framework for the market's participants to work together with this aim," said Mark Austen, acting chief executive of AFME.

The EURUSD and the GBPUSD are down. The EURGBP is weaker. Some Traders have been keeping an eye on the short squeeze in European sovereign debt and on the threat of forex intervention in the EUR.
