DislikedI did not get any error message. This is the first time this has ever happened since I have been using your EA's. However, I have been using v6 till yesterday and then went to v8.

Fascinating stuff, really, no kidding..
If I could read code better I wouldn't need to ask this question, but maybe you can help me:
for EAv8,
2 positions are opened initially when the ea triggers,
are they opened as 1 trade, and then closed in partial close order for targets and stops
or
are they opened separately as 2 different positions and treated as 2 different trade from open to close..
Thanks in advance.

is there any good point in optimizing parameters every week (for 1 month period)?
and does the account's currency have any effect on profit/drawdown??

There is a great clock indicator that Geoff posted on this thread. Attach that to your chart as it lists broker time and GMT. The time difference is your offset.
I don't have the skills to post it on this message. But look for CLOCK.ex4 in the attachments listIgnored

Hi have it locked and loaded
My broker and London times are the same so as we are GMT +1 thats what I will set
The 140 pips SL is not such a worry as long as you calculate your money management correctly
If the model shows 90% win rate then Im happy to use 10% risk per trade
On 2 orders opening with 140 pips of risk per contract my total risk will be 280 pips
On a $10,000 account and using 10% I can risk $1,000
With GBPUSD giving me $10 per pip if I lose 280 pips I lose $2800 which exceeds my 10%
It seems...Ignored
DislikedHi Chip4Pips
Only just spotted your post while backtracking through the thread.
The percentages work correctly on 5 digit brokers so I suspect your broker
is 4 digit?
I didn't know about this problem but I will look into it, I suspect you can
get round it by multiplying by 10 for now!Ignored
