yes.. its possible.. i had a pending at 256X... the differnce in this bounce compared to the last recent lows is now the eux has made a new low.. it bounced off a s/r...to put us where we are atm.. it bounced off the 2008 low.. so like the all time 50% level the euro also has this for support. but it will not hold forever.
2008 low was on one of my older predictive. (eurx) charts i dont have atm..
being on that chart alone says we always bounce after..

While you're question wasn't directed at me, I would say (currently) stocks.

BUT, that can change as quick as a high school fad. When fund managers/money managers slosh money into currencies from wherever, it's typically based on the best performers at the time. That can be from either catergory.

As stated ealier in this thread, correlations can break at any time. You have to be as liquid as the market is.

neither.. usd corelation to s/p may not continue.. oil is better.. oil is a currency just like euro is. many time oil leads eu.. when oil spikes it gives you a clue eu will fall.. we are in a fragile economy high oil will kill it.. when oil spikes and s/p spikes at the same time be prepared for a fall. like today.. the magic number last time was oil 87.. but as you see we fell lower low (oil 65) and almost lost the stock markets this last time. so watch this next run-up.. i doubt we go to 87 but if we do be prepared for the fall.. i am gonna look for weakness at 79 +
oil spikes have lead all recessions over the last 40 years. it takes 2 years for the economy to digest any sustained oil spike. we may already be in a recession.. economy has yet to work out the 200 + oil out the system (2008).

In 2008, the Dow rise followed the rise in oil....or vice versa.

When oil peaked at $146, the dow was at 11,00+.

where was oil at dow 14k?..if you have not studied this in depth i would stay neutral. as for me a few others we made good money playing this. dont shoot messenger. investigate in real time.. and to point we crashed after..oil held down dow ect.

I would say what "held down" the Dow was a consistent rise from 2003-2007 WITHOUT a sizable pullback.

Contribute it to anything you like. I don't see it with oil. The Dow went up....so did oil. Dow went down....so did oil.

I assume you make a living trading.....I do. So....if either one of us is right or wrong, what's it matter?

You trade on S/R & Pivots, I trade on a 5 min chart w/ bollinger bands.

Jesus....I think this is how the crusades got started.

It's not that big of a deal....and I've been drinking.
