Because the original code of this EA couldn't deal with the broker of TDFX and maybe more brokers I decided to recode the EA.
The only difference between the original EA and mine version is that my version only opens a trade at the opening of a bar. And I have an other Money Management system.
Below you can see the difference between the original EA and my version in a backtest from 01-01-2008 until 30-04-2010.
Let me know what you think of the results.

Ive been running V8 on GBPUSD 1 hr live on Alpari UK. No trade executed as yet for 2 days. Is this normal practice for this EA. I trade breakouts manually doing very well and would like to see this EA perform on my live account. Cheers!

The results look excellent, how do you want to proceed?
Would it possible to do two trades?
And you want then a second TP that you can set, so you have one TP @ 5 pips and an other TP @ 10?

Hi Geoff,
Can't wait till I finish reading this thread so I jump on the wagon to test v8 this morning my time. It opened 2 SELL (1.4387 & 1.4386) and both got StopOut at 1.44532.
This is how I set the timezone:
Currently my PC time shows 22:34 (GMT+7), and my broker's time shows 18:34.
So I set GMToffset to 0 and Starttime to 3. Am I right?

First of all your PC time is irelevent, all you need to know is your brokers offset
from GMT, you didn't say who your broker is, but you leave the start time at 23.

Hey Pen,
From your info, I would say your broker's offeset = GMT+3
So you should set GMTOFFSET to 3.
