Is it me, or is it just too easy to make money on the EUR/USD atm?
Short, TP, Short, TP, repeat.
I keep waiting for the reversal and have seen several "almost" longs but prudently didn't go in them. It isn't going to be easy to take a long on this pair.

I have a new bad habbit - haven't used SL on shorts taken on EU (and EJ)since January, it has been so worth it, but ... is it time to stop doing it or not yet?

trade in a competition that I'm running in for a 15,000$ prize

I dont know what you mean but I'm in a real contest I'm calling this for me you wont find any commercial link on this or on my thread because I'm a contestant that's all. It is not from Canada I'm from canada.
I was looking for support but if someone is to frustrated about is own life just don't bother writing something on this

hope everyone had a great weekend and a good start to the trading week....

next major supports I see atm are 2280, 2133, then probably some major options protection at 2000. Dow, oil, sp, uj, aj all falling, risk aversion becoming very clear. Lets see where asia takes this, right now it has some nice momentum behind it.

I want to join in the main trend but feel that it is oversold s/t and
may be good for at least a 100 pip bounce from 2300 level if it gets there within next 4h t/f (might get away with 65 pip s/l for a decent r/r setup).
if you want to make money stop trying to make money. the trend is down.. so sell the bounce. with 1-2% risk using last high as a sl...above 2672... double the tp and walk away... for a few days.. if you lose your loss is 1-2 % of your account. if all goes as well you will be moving your tp and sl lower in a few days..

Lesson learned Gator, will await next good short entry ... thanks for the advice.
I'm not trading this pair at the moment, other than the occasional scalp where the r/r is worth it. What concerns me is that the PA got told in no uncertain terms to fuc off when it got to the all time 50% fib. If this current fall is heading back to that level, either it will get told to f o again, or it will drop like a rock. If it drops, so be it. If not though, I will start thinking that the PA is trying to establish a bottom with a view to a reversal for a long term up trend.

So, a drop or a reverse? I dunno, that's why I'm out apart from the scalps I mentioned before.
